We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay in the very well equipped and comfy suite perched up on the rocks with its stunning views. 3 nights was a joy so that we could spend some time just admiring the landscape. Such a shame that so many people whizz around Namibia and only stop at camps for 1 night, hardly time...

What a charming place this is! I love how it is built around the rocks and just seems to blend in. We had lodge #9 which was the perfect location, a little apart from the rest with a great view. Here the entire bathroom is outdoors which takes some getting used to...but was great fun. Food and service are great...

We arrived here and found we were in the suite! Unexpected but much appreciated. We had two rooms,a bedroom and then a lounge and bar area. The bathroom is outside under the granite rocks so rather strange having a shower and using the toilet with an open view down the valley! Food was good but a set menu so not...

Flew in from Swakopmund and the landscape makes for a spectacular view. This is serious , arid and vast country that must be seen. An outstanding and warm greeting from all of the staff and Anton and Tuffy and absolute legends and know their stuff. Morning games drives were a treat and breakfast on the road was top notch with...

We absolutely loved Camp Kipwe, from the welcome drinks to lunch, dinner and the mountaintop sundowners. Our "igloo" was cool and comfortable, staff were attentive and friendly and food was good... with breakfast offerings being original and extremely well thought out. The view from the hilltop bar was worth waiting for and one our most memorable experiences of this part...

I stayed here for two nights as part of a 2-week small group trip through Namibia. Of the half-dozen lodges we stayed at during our trip, Camp Kipwe was my favorite by far. The location and setting of the resort is incredible as it is tucked amongst enormous boulders in the middle of a vast plain. This allows for a...

The small group safari that took us through Namibia included two nights at Camp Kipwe, and we found everything about our stay a real pleasure. Other reviewers have more than adequately described the unique accommodations, but not enough can be said about the delightful outdoor bathrooms, enclosed all around but open to the sky. There was plenty of space to...

Two families of 4 travelling with 2 teens each. Absolutely incredible adobe style rooms with outdoor shower/bath. Plenty of hot water as they heat everyone's water by lighting a fire with wooden logs. Relaxing pool area and the food was excellent. One of the highlights is hiking up a small mountain/hill on the property to watch the sunset with everyone...

Stunning desert scenery with a beautifully designed lodge with pleasant, competent staff at every position with the best food we ate on a three week trip. Guests who took the 4-6hr rd trip to see the desert elephants said it was worth it but we had seen lots of wildlife already with more on our itinerary so w/ only a...

We recently spent two nights at Camp Kipwe,- breathtakingly beautiful location, lovely, stylish suites, a wonderful balcony on which to dine overlooking the desert and all woven into the Damaraland rocks with great sensitivity. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the food was great; we did a wonderful early-morning game drive in the dry river bed to observe elephants...
