We camped here in November 2015. It was very hot (42°C) when we arrived at the spacious and largely empty campsite in the afternoon, so we were grateful to be able to use the lodge's lovely swimming pool - which is surrounded by REAL GRASS and a pretty, cleverly designed desert garden. This is a lovely lodge set amongst stunning... More

Poor Management, there was no water available, we couldn't even flash the toilets. The manager had a new year gathering while the guest couldn't even shower. His excuse was that all the shops was closed for the holidays. This was unacceptable as we paid a lot to visit the lodge and they did not do any effort to accompany us.... More

Excellent situation on the Ugab River. Spaced out campsite. Adequate facilities for the dry months of the year. Pool a welcome attraction for campers as well as those staying in the lodges. Will be back for another visit.

if you are looking for a low-budget alternative to lodges this is a fine place to consider. Rooms are small but very clean, there is running water - the shower was barely dripping, but still enough to get clean. Meals are simple, wholesome and tasty. The real highlight is the garden and pool around the central complex: the garden is... More

We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights. The location of the campsite in a dry river bed is very beautiful. The night before our arrival an elephant had walked through the camp. We only saw goats, cows and donkeys. There are many ablution blocks, which are very basic, but there is warm water. Camping guests are welcome at the... More

We had a very nice bungalow - the units are all secluded and you feel as if you are on your own. The pool, lounge and dining area are very agreeable and we had an excellent stay. Staff were pleasant and the accommodation comfortable.

Nice campsite close the the famous "White Lady of the Brandberg" rock painting. The campsite offers lots of shade under kameeldoring (thorn) trees. Communal toilet and shower facilities are distributed throughout the campsite. Warm water for the showers are provided by lighting a fire under a cylinder well before the water is required. No electricity in the campsite. No fuel... More

We stayed here for one night. When we got there (you need to check in at the Lodge) it was over 40°C. Luckily if you're staying in the camp site you are allowed to use the lodge facilities as well - which include 2 pools! The best part about the lodge was Carlos. Carlos is a tame meercat that lives... More

Firstly if you on a motorcycle, and are not to happy riding sand, then maybe give this spot a miss. What a wonderful place, camping in nature yet at the lodge all is available. Although the campsites was full, everyone had all the privacy you required. The showers are donkey showers (a fire to get the water warm), and the... More

We love visiting the Brandberg area and the White Lady is a great place to stay. The scenery is among the most stunningly beautiful in Namibia, especially around sunrise and sunset. There are plenty of sandy tracks to explore either on foot or in vehicle. We really enjoyed taking late afternoon runs through the granite koppies. We had planned on... More
