Motel Savane is a nice local hotel, built in a typical and traditional style. Rooms are clean, but rather basic in decoration, bathrooms are quite run down. In general, some refurbishment and modernisation works would considerably improve overall impression. Nevertheless, it is a good place to stay in Ségou, the garden is nice, as is the restaurant. Food is simple...

We didn't use taxies (we had a Minivan) but the cost of the ride by taxi shouldn't be more of a couple of USD. The staff was really knowledge and helpfull. Bungalows decor and equipment are really basic but acceptable. Some...

Bungalows are air-conditioned and clean and the one I stayed in was very spacious. Beds come with a mosquito net. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is nicely done. It is within walking distance of the river although not in the center of town. The wifi connection did not work well.

A bit out of the city centre, but a taxidrive for CFA 500 will take there. Private cabins with shower. Dutch/Mali ownership.
