We loved L'Heure Blue for its setting overlooking the water and town with locals walking up and down the beach doing their daily routines. The open air dining room with views and common area were perfect, as was the lovely pool complete with local kingfishers. The food was excellent, in the French-Malagasy style, very fresh fish and poultry. The bungalows...

Great location in nosy be with fantastic views. Two pools are fantastic so the kids don't annoy others. Good excellent and fast service with the restaurant staff very accommodating. We stayed a Saturday night and the local nightclub on the beach 500 meters away felt like it was next door as the noise travelled across the water. Real issue was...

Location is perfect, with stunning views over the bay. Food and service excellent too (except for one 'not customer oriented' bar manager). We were for 4 days on our honeymoon, and The big problem was that we found lots of bugs everyday. We complaint at reception but no quick solution was produced, as I had to kill around 20-30 bugs...

Dear guests, Thank you for your feedback.Indeed, I wasn’t in the hôtel during your stay and I’m really sorry the reception’s staff didn’t reacted about this problem. We had just treated bungalows against wood cockroaches that were present in the roof of traditional materials, that's why there were fewer bugs on the third day. The reception would have to move...

We enjoyed a delightful 1 night stay in one of the charming waterfront cottages. A stunning view. Restaurant is a bit over-ambitious with very "Ëuropean" (ie slow) service but all very pleasant. My special thank you goes out to the staff who helped arrange a special taxi to get a forgotten item to the airport before my flight left. Big...

Charming & luxurious boutique hotel. Good restaurant. Sympathetic owner walks around and helps with daytrips / diving trips. Best is to book the waterfront De Luxe cabins if they are available, although the standard cabins are fine as well.

We stayed at L'Heure Bleu for 4 nights in June and felt very welcome straight away. The hotel is nicely located at the end of the beach, away from all the touristy hustle and bustle. We booked one of the more basic rooms which was perfectly fine - a bit dark inside but still comfortable and had a lovely private...
