Stayed for two nights. The beach and location were great, and the food at the restaurant was cheap and incredibly delicious. However, the beds were ridden with bed bugs and rooms a bit leaky when it rained... All in all an okay stay, would definitely go back for the food and beachfront view!

I was here with my friend. .he went there earlier and I join him in one of the hut at Ghc 80, I thought this is cheap!. we stayed for 2 night..the room looks clean. I was impressed with the shower and the closet considering the room is fresh! Some few things around the compound have been ignored and needs... More

We were a group of friends that came to Alaska hotel. The rooms were right on the beach which was very convenient and a couple of nice restaurants just around the hostel. Unfortunately, the sheets in the rooms were filthy and you need to bring your own towels. In addition, there are public showers and toilets that most of the... More

I stayed at the Alaska for 2-3 nights (can't remember!) last August while I was backpacking with a friend. Looking back it was probably one of the nicest hotels I stayed at while in Ghana. My friend and I opted to share a hut with an attached bathroom and both were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a very large... More

Location is great, with an excellent beachfront , plenty of shadow and very close to the village. The huts and garden are nice, though a little bit run down. The restaurant definitely needs improvement as most of dishes we got were half burnt and pricey. All in all, not amazing but a good spot to stop for a while. Kids... More

Lovely staff, greatest location and cosy little huts. Just spend a couple of days there, chillax in the hammock and go surfing. I highly recommend the locally owned surf-school and breakfast & dinner at David's just behind the church (bestest pancakes and delicous redred). Highly recommend to stay there!

Alaska Beach Lodge is a great choice for backpacker's. The individual huts are basic, but clean and very affordable at 40 cedis (10 euros) a night. The grounds are well maintained, the communal showers and toilets are clean and its beach front location is ideal. It's a shame the restaurant and bar are so neglected. There was no life at... More

Im in Ghana as a Volunteer and I've slept in Busua for one night. I have to say that this Hotel is quite bad even for Ghanaian standards. The huts need Mainteance, the Toilets are disgusting and the food is nothing else than average. A Pluspoint is, that as soon as you are out of your hut, you are on... More

I thought this was a very nice beach bungalow/hut setting. We were able to fit 6 people in each hut (we are volunteers so we have to live cheap!), but they can be tailored for less as needed. The staff is both friendly and helpful, the food is decent and very convenient, and the bar is well stocked. The town... More

Alaska beach club is not so big and fancy like the big nearby resort, but it is also a good choice if you have not so much money and still want to enjoy the beach. The place is nice and the view is beautiful even at night. I didn't sleep there tough but a couple of friends went there for... More
