There seems to be two disparate groups of people that stay at this hotel: people that want winter sun and lounge by the small pool all day and bird watchers. It's great for both! The rooms are small, basic but clean. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere, if you're looking for a small, quiet hotel where all the staff...

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. We have both travelled extensively in Africa and really enjoyed the ambience and peacefulness of the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Being an international event manager I have to say I have never tasted such delicious halibut in a bernaise sauce - the Head Chef 'Omar' is excellent at...

This small hotel has a delightful setting and is a mecca for ornithologists of every calibre. The rooms are spacious and well mai8ntained but have no modern-day luxuries such as television and telephone. The pool is small and cool and the pool-side does get crowded as bathing in the nearby Atlantic is not easy. Breakfasts relatively simple but the captain's...

All room service was of very good standard. Most of staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is the bar and restaurant service. Watch out for the additional charge magically added to your bills. The breakfast was mostly alright, although restaurant staff were rude when you would like to borrow a spoon/knife, as they did not have any spare...

The fact that this was the last drop off point on our bus ride from the airport with Thomas Cook indicates that it was a little way out from the hustle and bustle of the other hotels in Senegambia. The hotel was clean, the room was more than adequate and the staff were friendly. If you have more than a...

Location of the hotel is great. It's not as busy as Senegambia so let you chill. The bangalow-rooms are just amazing! Absolutely loved the idea! The area round the hotel is good for having a rest with the book. Lots of trees, birds, and monkeys :) Swimming pool is rather small but hardly anybody was using it anyway so probably...

There is nothing in our opinion you could fault at this Hotel. As many previous reviewers have stated it is basic but in terms of the wonderful service you will receive it is five star !! We stayed on half board and the food was excellent, yes the breakfast is "different" but plentiful. We chose an air con room and...
