Stayed this weekend to visit a local fall festival. Highly recommend this place. Beautiful historic property with well appointed rooms. A lovely, relaxing place to stay. Rooms were clean and well appointed and breakfast was really good! We enjoyed our trip and highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We spent 3 nights here over July 4 weekend and enjoyed it immensely. The inn is at the beginning of a lovely country road-- perfect for walking. Lauren is the perfect hostess-- friendly, warm, caring. She is genuinely interested in her guests, and does all she can for their comfort. And she is great cook-- breakfasts were amazing. Very comfortable,... More

My husband and I have been by this B&B many times en route to elsewhere and was always curious about it. It's in a nice quiet country setting with big old trees and beautiful flowers around. We finally decided to stay there for 2 nights when we were bicycling on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail. Both innkeepers are involved (husband... More

Just returned from a 3 nights stay at the Honored Guest B&B in Hillsdale, Berkshire. My daughter recommended it after she visited Hillsdale with her husband and 1 year old son in October 2013, she loved it. We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B, for which the first B stand for bed and what a bed we... More

I recently stayed at the Honored Guest with my husband and my 6-week old newborn son while attending a wedding in the area. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay! Often, B&Bs do not allow children or have certain restrictions, but the owners were so welcoming and even had a pack and play waiting for us in the closet just in... More

We have stayed in a few B & B's in this area. This is by far our favorite! Comfy rooms and yummy breakfast makes our stays here always a treat! Bob and Lauren are great hosts! Just an altogether lovely experience, time and time again!

My husband and I spent one night at The Honored Guest - we were picking up our son from sleepaway camp the following morning. Most B&Bs and hotels in the Berkshires require a 2-night stay in the summer, and we were looking for lodging that did not have that minimum requirement. We are so glad we found The Honored Guest.... This charming B&B in the Hudson River Valley has lush gardens, friendly hosts, and comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed our stay there and will happily recommend it to others. A full breakfast included fritatta, muffins, scones, juice, coffee, fruit and yogurt--all delicious. Children enjoyed a kid-friendly bowl of cereal and fruit. Our room was quaint and lovely with window-unit air conditioner... More

In anticipation of our move to the area we stayed many weekends with Lauren and Bob. This is the most family friendly b&b that we've stayed in many years. The grounds and house are well kept. We were always greeted with freshly baked muffins. The beds are comfortable. The owners were flexible to our needs every time.

“The Rose room and the Blue room are Tops! The gold room is not great for a tall person. I was fine but my 6'1husband had a harder time in the smaller bed. We stayed here with friends so we gave up our usual room to them. All in all, a super experience, as always!!”
