We have been coming to the Inn for 6 years and have stayed there about 10 times. Each time is wonderful and we always feel welcome and at home. We love the inn for several reasons: comfortable accomodations, wonderful breakfasts, phenemonal innkeeper Nancy, close access to Walkway over the Hudson and close location to other attractions including the CIA, FDR...

I wouldn't change a thing. The host, Nancy, has thought of everything. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, the bathroom like a gorgeous spa. The furnishings in the rooms and throughout the Inn are beautiful, tasteful and interesting. There is a cozy well-appointed room to sit in, with a fireplace. Hudson valley outing, food and home decor magazines throughout....

We had the most incredible time at the Inn. The place itself is impeccably clean and the decor is so carefully thought out and arranged. It is both charming and classy. We were minutes away from the rail trail and a short walk to cross the river. I went running in the mornings and I had an endless trail of...

If you desire a quiet neighborhood to stay in, a wonderful innkeeper, really artfully decorated rooms, superior bathrooms & linens, with creative gourmet breakfast(s), this is the place! Visiting the historic Hudson River Valley could not be easier to enjoy from this Inn and it's a relaxing place to end the day. We highly recommend this place - but, don't...

The quality of this lovely place is superb from decor to food to the owner's kindness and helpfulness. A family member owned an antique store, and many of her pieces were used to decorate this house. The house has been skillfully remodeled to maintain its flavor, yet it is extremely comfortable. Nancy, the owner, loves to cook and enjoys trying...

Really enjoyed our stay here. The innkeeper is perfect for this job, helpful and meticulous. The 3 rooms are all beautiful. Comfortable beds with luxurious towels in the private baths. Breakfast is a treat with homemade baked goods, fruit, and a choice of a few entrees. They have bikes to borrow to use to ride the Walk Over The Hudson,...

This gorgeous B&B is set on a lovely piece of property and is maintained to perfection. The whole house is elegant, beautifully decorated, and spanking clean, and our room (#2) was very large, comfortable, and had a huge modern bathroom. Our breakfast was bountiful and absolutely delicious: homemade nectarine danish, fresh fruit, vegetable omelette (or French toast), orange juice (toast...

I have reviewed this B&B before, but I just went back this weekend and realized again what a haven it is for the outdoor enthusiast. It sits right on the Rail Trail - 22 miles of beautiful paved trail for running, walking and biking - and just 1 mile from the Walkway Over the Hudson. Easy trip from the city...

It's just across the bridge from Poughkeepsie. Quiet street. Excellent accommodations and full breakfast. Host is great. The inn also has a great back yard/patio and is close to the trail that leads over the Hudson Walkway pedestrian bridge. Only three rooms, I think, so make your reservation early.
