We love this B&B! Clean with a warm, intimate atmosphere, delicious breakfasts and accommodating Innkeeper - Nancy. Short drive to restaurants and attractions such as Storm King, Culinary Institute and Rhinebeck and short walk to the village.

The inn and Nancy are lovely. The inn is beautiful. We were in room #2 which was lovely, clean and very inviting. Nancy is a wonderful hostess and makes amazing breakfasts. The java chip scones were definitely worth sinning for! We would love to go back.

When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Nancy (the Innkeeper), with gracious hospitality, as I remembered from a previous visit, As before, the room was lovely, spacious, nicely decorated and spotless. For breakfast, guests had a choice of three delicious gourmet "made from scratch" options! The most impressive thing I want to share is that Nancy went over and above the call of duty for us when we needed help. A friend and I got caught in a storm and could not find our way back to the Inn.  Nancy and her husband came out in the midst of a storny night, found us, and guided us back to the Inn. So, not only does the Inn get my highest recommendation as a wonderful place to stay, but for me the most memorable highlight is the Innkeeper herself. She is beyond compare!  My stay there was the last stop on a very demanding multi-stop screening tour. It was a blessing to be so well cared for when I was already exhausted and faced a crisis...i.e. getting lost andthen being rescued and led home on a stormy night. And, I got no feeling from Nancy that her braving the storm was a burden. Now that is hospitality at its best.

A perfect place to stay. I had relatives from Germany and arranged to have them stay at the Inn... Rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed....Large private baths... Bedroom were upstairs while the lower level served as a comfortable living space ...cozy and inviting. Coffee and tea always available and a plate of yummy goodies. Breakfast was delicious with choices of entrée and cereal and toast also available. The Innkeeper was wonderful and provided a host of information about surrounding places of interest. Rockers on the porch to enjoy the quiet outdoors and easy access to the Empire Rail Trail and Walkway Over the Hudson. Don't miss it!

The Inn at Twaalfskill is exactly what we wanted in a bed and breakfast. It's is the perfect combination of antique charm with modern amenities. Nancy is a great hostess, there when you need her but not hovering (she lives in the house next door). The breakfasts were yummy including freshly baked goods each morning and a couple of nice choices to get you started each day. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, the bathrooms large with a great shower. There are lovely spots to sit outside and a comfortable living room to relax in inside. Nancy's recommendations for things to do and places to eat were spot on. And the location, just across the river from Poughkeepsie, is a great base for exploring the mid Hudson region. We were traveling with another couple and we all could not have been more pleased with our stay.
