So one day when I was looking for something to do, I Googled pet-friendly cabins near New Paltz New York. I'm so glad I did. Clove cottages are absolutely the best. The owners Noah and Michelle are quite lovely ,friendly, warm and inviting. The Cottages are like little houses. Clean with just about everything you'll need. We grilled every night... More

The location of the cottages is out in the country side. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the one room cottage. this was like an efficiency apartment. The bed was comfortable, the refrigerator was the very small type. there was a 13 inch TV but only for DVD, there is no TV reception, no cable TV or... More

We stayed @ Clove Cottages in the "Purple Cottage for" 2 nights. The cottage were scrupulously clean & tidy. Found out at check in that was no broadcast TV which turned out to be a bonus. The owners, Noah & Michelle had a great assortment of DVD's & we rediscoverd NPR radio & also enjoyed listening to old time radio... More

We stayed in the yellow cottage and loved it. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Sugar and Cocoa the llamas are great and we enjoyed all the games, DVDs and jigsaws available to borrow when it was raining. There were lovely homemade touches such as the yummy muesli and soap. A great family destination with lots of hiking... More

The Clove Cottages is a cute property. We chose this place because we were taking our dog away with us. The advantage of a cottage is that you have your own space with nobody on the other side of the wall. This is great because it keeps our dog nice and calm. The cottage was not fancy but it had... The Clove cottages are very comfortable, quiet and laid back. All cottages have kitchens and free wi-fi. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for a quiet place to stay in beautiful surroundings. The Mohonks are 15 minutes away and amazing to hike. There are 85 miles of hiking and biking trails to suit every level of experience. There... More

I'm hesitant to write the review because then the secret will be out. This place is magical and wonderful and the only issue is I haven't discovered it sooner. As I write this its dawn, Van Morrison is playing on repeat, I'm having the best cup of coffee ever eating homemade granola looking at the beautiful mountain from my window... More

Finding Michelle and Noah's place was a completely happy Googling stab in the dark. I wanted a weekend away not too far the city (Zip Car-able) and had no idea what to expect. Little did I know I had found a slice a heaven that I want to return to again and again! The property is beautiful and the view... More

We stayed here in early November as a base to go hiking in the Gunks and Minnewaska Preserve. The cottages are only 5-15 minutes away from many of the trailheads. We also visited some wineries that were only about 30 minutes away. We were able to have our dog with us, and she had a great time sniffing at the... More

My daughter & son-in-law had a wedding to attend in this area this past weekend. We stayed over night and got to watch our sweetie pie grandaughter, Charlotte for the day. We had a wonderful time with her especially during dinner and the following day's breakfast. She is a class-A ham and gets everyones attention with that personality. It was... More

Thank you for your review, Rick. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and sorry to hear you found the futon thin. It is a thick futon- but a futon, none the less. We will look into providing an additional foam topper upon request until we can replace the futon all together. Thanks again for letting us know. More
