Property's Favorite Review
We travelled from NYC to Keuka Lake over President's Day weekend for some relaxation and delicious wine, but we never expected our favorite part of the trip to be the incredible bed and breakfast we stayed at. Being first time guests at the Black Sheep Inn, we met the amazingly kind NEW owners who greeted us immediately upon arrival and showed us around the immaculately pristine and well-decorated establishment. Our room was beautiful beyond all expectations and was frankly the nicest B&B room I've ever seen. Throughout our stay we got to know the lovely English couple who own The Blacksheep Inn and enjoy absolutely delicious meals each morning. We took advantage of their Beer and Wine tour packages which were well worth every cent as we were able to adventure around several incredible vineyards and breweries without the hassle of driving. Without question, we will be staying here each and every time we visit the Finger Lakes.

Deb and Marc are incredible hosts to a relaxing bed and breakfast experience. Deb is a professional chef that delights with breakfast creations that are creative, healthy ( I think!) and yummy. They help coordinate what you would like to do while visiting the Finger Lakes- wine tours, sailing excursions or great dining. My favorite moments was sitting around an evening fire that Marc made with other guests. P.S. Nature abounds!

We spent 3 nights at the BSI recently. What a great place. Deb and Marc our hosts tried to meet our every need. We had an add-on winery tour that we highly recommend. The wineries we visited were very good. We had some delicious snacks provided by Deb and we didn’t have to find the places or worry about driving. Walking only steps from the Inn to the Broken Dreams Brewery was a plus. We walked to good restaurants in Hammondsport. Heard free music. Beautiful swimming beach. BSI also set us up for a nice kayak on Keuka Lake. Our room, the gourmet breakfasts all excellent. Stars galore in the night sky. Go.

Coming to the Finger Lakes region for the first time and deciding to stay at The Black Sheep Inn on a recommendation was the best thing that could have happened to us. Deb and Marc made our stay exceptional. From the unique Octogonal House accommodation with beautiful interior, the locally sourced breakfast cooked by Deb, great package options including a massage through to activity recommendations including winery connections and hiking or museum visits, everything was fantastic. We would stay for another week in a heartbeat and sincerely recommend anyone looking for some time off to stop by The Black Sheep Inn.

My wife and I had the pleasure in spending 4 nights with Deb and Marc last month at their B&B. We had booked two nights but extended to four because of their hospitality. We highly recommend the Black Sheep Inn and Hammonsport as a location to visit in ‘Finger Lakes’ region. We would definitely book again as their is more to see and do.

Hi Stevan and Diana, We’re so glad you found us, and that we could help you explore the area, and still have some time to relax. Our conversations were enjoyable, and we were thrilled to see Diana’s needlework. We hope you have wonderful holidays, and that we’ll see you again soon. xo, D&M
