Charming Inn located a bit more than a mile from town. The innkeepers, Debbie and Mark, were gracious hosts, fine breakfast cooks and good guides for the area. Inn is particularly good for stays by more than two people since the common areas are like having your own private living room.

This is a unique property on a mostly quiet road. Marc and Debbie have done a great job of refurbishment. Deb is an accomplished chef, the breakfast was divine, but since I do not eat eggs, it was not really very filling. My wife does eat eggs, and her delectable breakfast did come with a gently fried egg on top,... More

Hi John and Martha, Thanks for making us a stop on your trip. We are disappointed that you didn’t mention to us at the time that your breakfast wasn’t quite filling enough, because we would have been glad to prepare something else for you. We are proud of the local and organic breakfast we serve, and it is important to... More

This review is not so much about the property or accommodations or the food. It is about how I was treated when I had to cancel a massage appointment 24+ hours in advance. I spoke with Marc indicating that I had dinner plans on the evening of my appointment and I would like to reschedule. Debbie called me back and... More

We normally don’t rehash details in a public setting, but it seems that you have forgotten many of the details of our transaction. When you stopped by the Inn midafternoon on August 4th to schedule a last minute massage for the next day, while you were here, we immediately got on the phone to find a therapist that had an... My husband and I just returned home from our overnight stay at The Black Sheep Inn. I am recently retired and received a gift certificate to this wonderful Inn from my co-workers. I am glad I did! We had such a comfortable stay. We stayed in the Curtiss Room and it was exactly as described, really quite pretty as is... More

Hi Joyce and Don, It was a pleasure to have you both with us, even if it was just for one night. It’s always fun to be part of the gift giving process, and we enjoy making every Gift Certificate recipient feel special, whether it’s for a retirement, (as yours was), a birthday, or just because they need to get... Deb and Marc are fantastic and accommodating hosts! The Inn was exactly what we were looking for, comfort and relaxation in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We especially enjoyed some of the little personal touches that Deb and Marc provided, like the organic hair and body wash, the robes, and all guests names on the welcome board (see picture).... Hi Ryan and Becky, Is there any better present than some time on the Finger Lakes Beer Trail? We’re so glad you enjoyed your Beer Trail package, and we know you’ll get good use of the BSI insulated growler. It was great to have you both with us, and we’re glad your parents stopped by to say hello during your... More

My wife and I rolled the dice on the Black Sheep Inn while planning our 5th anniversary getaway. We like to stay at B&Bs on our trips, always considering it part of the "adventure!" Of all our experiences, this was hands-down, by far the most pleasant and enjoyable. Debbie and Marc are masterful hosts, and will ensure you have nothing... More

My wife and I stayed in the Pleasant Valley room and it was very comfortable. We also got the couples Swedish massage which was on site, so incredibly convenient and the masseurs were great. A perfect retreat for a long weekend at Keuka Lake. The location just outside of the center of Hammondsport was ideal.
