We spent our 25th wedding anniversary in the beautiful Taylor Suite. Deb and Marc are so wonderfully welcoming -- they made us feel completely comfortable. The inn is a lovingly restored 19th century historic octagonal house minutes from Hammondsport, at the south end of Keuka Lake. There seemed to be an abundance of wineries and breweries in the area, although... More

Debbie and Marc are a great team, and they make you feel very comfortable. They both have excellent pointers to share about local eateries and museums. Debbie's organic breakfasts amazing. They are a result of effort which take weeks - if not months of planning to prepare. She and Marc take pains to select and source the organic farms, keep... More

And we are very fortunate to have such great local and organic farm products to choose from right here in the Finger Lakes. Whenever you make it back this way, we can guide you to... More

The Black Sheep Inn is a beautiful B&B. The house is amazing and decorated beautifully. The Inn Keepers Debbie and Marc treat you like you are family. Debbie is a wonderful chef. The breakfast is always a wonderful experience! The little town of Hammondsport has great resturants and stores. The lakes are beautiful and there are more wineries than you... More

Marlies and George, we can't remember how you found us initially, but we're sure glad you did! Your annual visit is something we look forward to, and this year it was even a little earlier than usual. We're always glad to be your home away from home while you sample the local wines, and that we have a comfortable space... More

This wonderful place isn't for everyone. It isn't for people who want their innkeepers to slip around silently avoiding interaction. It isn't for people who want breakfasts that they could have gotten at Denny's. It isn't for people who can only live with right angles. But...it is for people who want to get to know two people who have worked... More

Mollie, your kind words are, of course, appreciated, but we think that your group really seems to have fun wherever you go. We are grateful for the opportunity to host you, and to participate in some small way in the memories you made here in Hammondsport. And another thank you for the fantastic preserves and the lovely candle, but mostly... More

Lorrie, we enjoyed having you and your mom here at the Inn, and especially our interesting conversations. We're glad you had such a great time with our Keuka Lake Wine Trail package, and hopefully all the plants you received at the wineries have made it into the ground at home and are flourishing. We hope to see you soon! M&D More

Amanda, Thank you for your kind comments. We really enjoyed having your group stay at the Inn. Everyone's laughter and fun was contagious! And one of the best parts of running an Inn is helping people celebrate, and helping them experience the best that the Finger Lakes has to offer. We hope to see you again sometime soon. D&M More
