Nice, small hotel in Greenport. We arrived before check-in but were permitted to use the parking lot and explore town. The staff were very accommodating during our stay. The hotel was following COVID restrictions and we felt very comfortable. Small but adequate rooms. A bit pricey but very convenient location.
The hotel has a cool lobby and nice garden, that’s about it. We stayed in a queen room which was a size of a shoebox. The bed was not even a queen size, no closet to put your clothes, the dresser was missing two knobs, the mini bar door did not open fully so you need you squeeze your hand to get stuff out. On top of it paper thin walls and each morning sounded like someone was moving and dropping furniture. Not sure what was that horrible noise. All that luxury for $400 per night??? Extremely disappointed.
I stayed here last weekend for my wedding anniversary and was very disappointed. The pictures on the website were barely recognizable as the same hotel rooms - ours was a shoebox, and we booked a room with a deck. The deck was not in any way private and the furniture out there was super minimal and uncomfortable. There is absolutely no insulation at all in the hotel, we could hear everything from the folks above and next to us - including them putting on and taking off shoes. The bathroom is also teeny and has no vanity, so you cant keep you toiletries in there. Lastly, I shared with concierge that it was our anniversary and asked for restaurant and massage recommendations. I had to follow up for a response and there was zero recognition that we were celebrating anything there. Generally, I think the hotel is overpriced... just pay more to stay at the other spots in town. The hotel does have parking, which was great, and it is super centrally located.…
My husband and I had a very nice time at The Gallery. The hotel was quaint and immaculately clean! The decor has a very vintage/retro look. Service was also very good. Our king bed was so comfortable and the room had a great shower. Highly recommend a room with a deck overlooking the pretty courtyard. It is in a great location within walking distance from everything. The ONLY complaint we have was that the people above us made so much noise in the middle of the night - stomping above us. That’s not the fault of the hotel however. We would like to return despite this.
A charming place to stay. With only 10 rooms, you feel like your at home. Bright colors throughout, there's ample space to hang out and have your privacy, inside and out. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast is perfect for starting your day. Breakfast lasts until 11, so theres no rushing. Great location. Will come back again.
