This B&B is a great place to get away from busy lives. The house is a well preserved museum of centuries and decades (architecture, interior decorating, artifacts). Guest rooms are upstairs. They are clean, quiet, and well decorated. Bathrooms are modernized. The first floor has many rooms with different purposes - sitting quietly, playing games, reading, eating. We felt welcome in every room. Hosts Claudia and Steve are warm and welcoming. While we could have stayed with little interaction, we chose to learn as much as we could from them about the house, surrounding towns, and highlights of what to see and do (wineries, orchards, restaurants, nature tours). We chose to take trips into Ithaca/Finger Lake Cayuga which was beautiful! At the B&B, breakfast exceeded our expectations. Fresh fruit, breads, jams, with any other breakfast food you can imagine made to order. Overall a great weekend adventure and a great value!

Very comfy and clean with everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Well-stocked visitors' kitchen was a real plus and the made-to-order breakfasts were delicious. Lots of good conversation with Claudia and Steve who are both locals and really know the area both past and present. We'll definitely come again!!

We are so glad that we found this Inn for our stay in Greene. Claudia and Steve are perfect hosts and story tellers. We stayed in the King bed room, just enough room and very tidy. Breakfast is fantastic and many home made treats available! The property is lovely with many private areas to sit to keep your social distance right now. Just remember , you are in a historic home,on old farm land and if you are looking for a hotel this is not it. If you are looking for charm, welcoming smiles and a place to sleep safely for your trip, you have found your place. Nice touch having a kitchen for the guests!

Claudia and Steve were gracious hosts. The old house was nice, the grounds were relaxing, and the breakfast was out of this world. Would definitely stay there again. We brought our little dog, and stayed in the "vet room". The room was immaculately clean. They even have a "summer kitchen" where we could prepare our own tea or coffee. We were the only ones there when we stayed, but the bathroom would be shared if people are staying in other rooms.

Response from Claudia Kachmarik, Owner at The 1810 Juliand House Bed and Breakfast

Alan, Thank you for your kind words. In these uncertain times, we do try to make our guests comfortable and safe. Just one little point, no one ever shares a bathroom. Booking the Vet's room gives you the bathroom you had as a private bathroom, just for your use. I'm glad we were able to make you and your dog feel at home.
