This was the perfect peaceful night I was looking for. We stayed in the Hannah Room. Cozy and charming, lots of space and modern amenities. Best nights sleep in a long time. Very accommodating, there was games, books, and snacks available. Stores and a few places to eat were just down the road. Binghamton was just a half hour away and many things to do in that town. Great half way point home from Niagara Falls. Breakfast was very delicious, options for all diets keto, vegan, gluten-free, etc. Would highly recommend.
My father and I stayed as our 1/2 way home from a recent road trip. On arrival, the most welcoming pair of pups (Buddy and Sadie)and Steve greeted us warmly! Additionally, the scent of home-baked banana bread welcomed and hinted at a divine breakfast to come! The rooms are spacious with every possible amenity, lovely antique decorations, and very comfortable beds! Claudia and Steve have considered all comforts available with complementary snacks of any taste, beverages and a guest kitchen to utilize. We were made to feel at home whilst away… there are multiple sitting rooms with television, books and games to entertain. After a good nights sleep, we were introduced to Steve’s amazing, ‘cooked to order breakfast! Literally—- we were offered a ‘soup to nuts’ breakfast with fresh fruit, coffee cake, breakfast breads, juices, eggs, and bacon with perfectly brewed coffee! Along with breakfast came a delightful conversation with both Claudia and Steve… we learned so much about the area and its history. Next time we hope to do the walking tour to learn more! This is an absolute 5-star stay! Many Thanks !…
Steve and Claudia friendly and accommodating, fitting me in on short notice for a business trip. The room was clean, and the surrounding area is a very beautiful small town country setting. I was treated to quite the sunset from my room. Breakfast was very good and the conversation even better.
From the moment our Family stepped into this beautiful home, all felt comfortable and secure. Hosts Claudia and Steve made it easy with Claudia giving a tour of the charming rooms including a fully stocked kitchen, bedrooms with en-suite or easily accessible bathrooms and at least three sitting rooms. The largest was where we had conversations in front of the gas fireplace. Another had a television with cozy sofa and the third the perfect place to read, enjoy puzzles and games. Host Steve was in charge of the Kitchen where he rolled out the most delicious breakfast cooked to order, with beautiful fresh fruit, home made Monkey Bread, sausage, bacon and eggs. What a great way to start the day! The Juliand House in Greene, NY is centrally located between Binghamton and Norwich NY. If you are hoping for a stay above the ordinary, The 1810 Juliand House will deliver.…
We held a large family gathering at the 1810 Juliane House. The welcoming atmosphere that Claudia and Steve created was unbeatable. I have never been more impressed with the attention to detail; from their lovely inn to the individual needs of several generations of family members. Claudia is a great conversationalist as well as an accomplished pianist. If you’re lucky she will play a request or two. In addition, Steve will prepare a breakfast feast the likes of which you only see in cooking magazines. I highly recommend this wonderful B&B to anyone looking for a special place to stay.
A hidden gem. If you are considering booking a stay, think no more; book your experience. The guest quarters are meticulously kept with period decor and pieces. We enjoyed Learning about the history of the city and home. The level of service alone made our trip special. Easily recommended.
Steve and Claudia are the best! Great place to stay. We stayed 6 nights and we were so pleased and blessed to stay there. They definitely went out of their way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and even went above and beyond when we needed help. We highly recommend 1810 Juliand House!!
My wife and I stayed one night at the 1810 Juliand House and it was great. I recommend Steve and Claudia unconditionally. The sitting room was warmed with a nice fire when we arrived on a raw rainy evening. Steve and Claudia showed us our nicely stocked kitchen, our bedroom with en suite. We had a cup of tea and a chocolate chip cookie in front of the fire before going up to bed to watch football. When we arrived Steve and Claudia asked what we’d like for breakfast, and what time we’d like it. That was very nice for us because it enabled us to get an early start on our travels, being well fed. Breakfast was great. More food than I could eat, and all high quality. Overall a very pleasant experience. Jim and Jan
Claudia & Steve made us feel completely at home. Claudia showed us around the house, pointing out the guest kitchen, complete with snacks, a big refrigerator, and ice water. We stayed in the Captain's room with a big four-poster bed and a private bathroom with everything we needed. Steve made us a fantastic breakfast featuring different kinds of fruit, eggs made to order, and scones. He was fun to talk to and knew all about the area
Fantastic weekend at the 1810 Juliand House. Room was perfect. Breakfast was excellent. Claudia and Steve were most gracious hosts. We picked this location because we were visiting family near Owasco Lake about an hours drive from the B&B.
