Hello Marianne, February falls in our hot summer rainy season in Zimbabwe. The daytime temperatures average around 25 degrees Celsius with the evenings cooling down nicely. We advise you to bring cool comfortable clothes but also a fleece or jacket for when it cools down. Our rains are often late afternoon thunderstorms which come and go quite quickly. The bush is lush and green and the skies are often dark with dramatic storm clouds on the horizon. It is a beautiful time to be in Hwange. We look forward to having you stay with us! Warm regards, The Hide Team

Hello, We use 220 Voltage in Zimbabwe and our plugs are the same as the UK ones - square 3 prong. We do have a few different types of adapters in camp in case you need any. Kind regards, The Hide

Hello, Apologies for the late reply and thank you to everyone for their answers. We will be sure to pass your regards onto Nkosi. All answers are correct regarding water and the weather - we provide our own filtered water along with bottles that can be refilled anytime throughout the day and night. Plus we have bottled water for those with a sensitive stomach. July is winter and probably our coldest month. But our winters have the most beautiful, warm, sunny days (reaching about 60/68 degrees Fahrenheit) with the early mornings and night times being the coldest (reaching about 37/43 degrees Fahrenheit). Bring layers plus a beanie, gloves and a scarf. We do provide you with a thick warm poncho and a hot water bottle to help keep you warm. We look forward to having you stay with us! Warm regards, The Hide Team

We had some hyenas camp out but they don’t climb trees. They would let you staf if it was too dangerous. We stayed overnight and it was great. Take lots of warm clothes if going in Winter. Reserve before you go.
