We are family of two adults and one child(13 years old girl), who spent 5 amazing days in Chalets D'ance Reunion, from 11.01.2022 to 16.01.2022.
The location is perfect - just a minute from the main road with the restaurants and the stores, very close to the seaside. The houses are new built, with a beautiful, green garden.
Thanks to Mohamed for arranged a bikes, for the fresh fruits and the perfect cleaning every day.
Miss Nora also is very kind lady, who helped us with the taxi to pick up us from the Jetty and extended our check-out time to 14.00h.
Next time when we visit La Digue, we definitely will stay again at Chalets D'ance Reunion.
Recommend this place to every one! :)))

The staff is super nice and helpful, location is great! And you rent bicycles right at the chalet. Breakfast was great and was brought to our chalet. They even washed our laundry for free. We had a great stay, thanks a lot to the staff!

When I searched for a place on the earth to get married with my love, there was many options: Philippines, Maldives, Andaman Islands etc.. But accidentally I was advised Seychelles. I did not heared a lot about that country but after browsing photos I decided - we go there. My passion did not know that we are going to marry before we arrived there. That was a surprise for her.
I managed to organize everything for 3 weeks. Initially I planned to stay 3 days on Praslin, 8 days on La-Digue and the rest 2 days on Mahe.
Praslin is a beautiful island. But La-digue really charmed us.
When we arrived to La-Digue, the taxi brought us to Chalets in 3 minutes. It is very close to the port. It can take up to 5-7 minutes to walk there.
The price for Chalets d'Anse Reunion was near to apartments on Praslen (I do not remember the name of the guesthouse). So I did not expected too much before we arrived there. But after the first look we was really surprised. The Chalets was great! This is your own private house with 2 bathrooms, kitchen, air-conditioners, safe, large terrace with beautiful view. The houses are in ideal conditions: it is clean, new and beautiful.
The owners are awesome and kind people (this is their family business). Upon arrival we was warm welcomed with delicious fresh juices. The beds was decorated with natural flowers from their own garden.
We fell in love with La-Digue and the owners of Chalets d'Anse Reunion multiplied our impressions.
The food is not included in the price. Actually there is no such option to choose from. But there is a great local market near the Chalets and a few supermarkets. You can find there everything you need. The kitchen in the house has everything and much more for cooking.
During our stay, in some days we cooked at home. Also there is a great choise of fresh tropical fruits and vegetables for the breakfast on the local market. The Chalets are quite close to walking street where you can find a lot of of restaurants and bars.
That was very convenient that the owners have a bikes for rental.
Every day we went to the beach early in the morning.
That was really a surprise when on return we found fresh fruits in the kitchen.
We did not asked, but the owners cooked the amazing and delicious complimentary dinner for us which include huge grilled fish, local salads, rice, vegetables etc. We really loved the local Kreol food. I asked if they can show us some cooking secrets. They was so kind and showed us everything :)
Sometime we found icecream in the freezer, fresh coconuts with cold tasty juice.
I asked where I can buy some fresh fish and I found a huge one in the freezer the next day.
On the 4-th day we had a wedding. When we arrived back to Chalets we found complimentary Champagne on the table and a basket with fresh tropical fruits.

We was so charmed with La-Digue, the local people, wild nature, beautiful beaches that we decided to stay there for 2 more days and it was the right decision.

On the last our day the owners cooked us another great dinner. It was really delicious, but too much food to eat :)

It was really sad to leave this paradise.

Ik (if you read this - sorry, I am not sure the writting of your name), I would like to say to you many thanks that you made our stay truly magical. I have not enough words to describe our impression, but there is not a lot places in the world with such kind people. We really loved our stay in Chalets d'Anse Reunion.
I wish good luck and prosperity to your business. You're doing it right. Continue in the same spirit and grateful visitors will come back to you again again.
Thank you so much, that you made our stay truly a paradise. There is not many places on the earth I'd like to go back, but definitely Chalets d'Anse Reunion - on the first lines of my list.

We would love to be able to review this accommodation, but unfortunately having emailed us on June 8th to ask us when we would be arriving*, the owner then emailed us on June 9th to say "Hi. I'm sorry but I don't have your reservation". As we were staying in Praslin and were due to arrive on La Digue on June 15th, this gave us 6 days to make alternative arrangements and meant spending a day of our holiday doing so. Nora, the owner, blamed Booking.com, but Booking.com were showing the accommodation as confirmed at the time and, in fact, for several days afterwards.

Fortunately we found Le Surmer Chalets - nicer accommodation in a much better location.

*We had already answered the time of arrival question on May 4th.

We stayed at Chalets d'Anse Reunion in July 2013 and can not recommend it highly enough!!
Chalets are really well designed and spacious, even having bathrooms on both floors.
Bedroom is upstairs and has great large balcony with nice chairs and table, great for evening relaxing time. You even don't need to use air condition - somehow its not getting humid or hot if you open the windows, contrary to other places we stayed on La Digue where aircon is a must.
Design is very nice - light colors and some wood, bed is comfortable, enough place for storage.

Bathroom is large, very clean, shower water pressure is good.
On the ground floor you have sitting room and kitchen area. Kitchen is very well equipped, as a big bonus you have water cooler, therefore you don't need to worry about buying drinking water - its always here. Fridge is big, with large frozing part.
Table is large enough for many people to have meals. Also on the ground floor you have porch for sitting outside with good chairs, view is nice and peaceful.
Location is great - its close to everything!!
The host is really great, very genuine person, helped us with every request! And you just HAVE to try dinner there - food is of excellent quality and it really a lot of it. Very good value for money!
Breakfast can be prepared for you for 10 euro - nice quality, good selection of fresh fruits.

We have stayed at other accommodations at La Digue and this one really captures our hearts! We even tried to extend our holidays so we can stay longer at this magnificent place.

Highly recommended - THE PLACE to stay!

It will be difficult to get better value for money in the Seychelles than at Chalet d'Anse Reunion. The service from Hugues and his family was excellent and the facilities were faultless. We asked for an extra bed and two bikes (one with a child seat) and were happy with what we received. We had continental breakfasts delivered every morning which helped get the day going without any hassle. For dinners we liked the flexibility of either cooking, discovering new restaurants or having a meal prepared by our hosts. The meals we had prepared meant that we had more than enough for a lunch of leftovers the next day. What made the difference were also the small things. For example, we were pleasantly surprised when we came back from the beach one day to find a Christmas tree and subsequently some gifts under the tree. Another time we felt like we were part of the community when we witnessed our neighbors chase a chicken that would become their dinner from the comfort of our veranda chairs. Hugues can also helped with almost anything. For example, he helped us arrange a boat when we wanted to see some of the surrounding islands. As mentioned previously, the location is excellent.

The location was ok. It was close enough to restaurants and beaches but you still need to walk about 15-20min to get to the beach.
The host was not really friendly. And also were never here when we needed them. Their payment system was not working and we had to do multiple withdraws (meaning multiple fees) to make the payment.
Last thing there was workers building fences therefore lot of noise all day long and couldn’t enjoy the terrasse as much as I would have liked.

Positive points: internet was working well , the housekeeping was daily

Bungalows are cosy and well located. Nevertheless I had a very bas surprise. Hugue Ladouceur had confirmed by e-mail my reservation, and even confirmed twice. But 2 days before I arrived, I was already in Praslin, he sent me an e-mail informing me that there was an error and the last night was no longer available. And actually when I showed up, it was not the last night, but two out of three... Hugues and Lynn found me a solution, but much less confortable and convenient.

Whenever I go through my pictures of this place I wish I had stayed longer at this beautiful chalet. It was an amazing time we spent here on our trip to La Digue.

The place is located very close to the port (walking around 5 minutes). You leave the port and take a right turn on the road and after 5 minutes you can see the sign of this place to the left. Though the chalet is not beside the sea, still it's just a minute away, so if you want you can be there anytime of the day. Anse Source d'Argent is a mere 10 minutes bike ride away. There are several restaurants nearby along with many stores. The roads around are lovely and you get the feeling the life here is so calm and peaceful with no one in any rush.

We got our bicycles on rent from the owner Lynn. She was an amazing person. We were greeted with welcome drinks. She then sat with us and shared us several tips to visit the best places on the island. Very helpful and she is there to help you out always. The wifi was not free though, but she arranged us a good deal to work with.

Rooms were clean and tidy. The ground floor has a living room with a small bed and sofas. The kitchen was loaded with all the basic and necessary amenities you may require to cook. There is a stairway which takes you to the bedroom upstairs which was huge and decorative. The balcony is a great place to chill and enjoy the garden view outside. You get to see several colourful birds chirping around. The best thing we felt about the place was you get the entire chalet to yourselves to enjoy. It's like having a homely feeling away from home.
