This is our second time staying at Bragdon House and we will be back. Jennifer and Diana are welcoming and so friendly. This visit was to celebrate my birthday- we had reservations at FLX Table, which is an easy walk (it took us less than 10 minutes). When I told Jennifer that we were going to FLX, she offered us a special rate for the evening. Hopefully this is a new thing, that they are able to partner with other businesses in the area to drive tourism and business. We stayed in the Phoebe, it was very well appointed, the bed was extremely comfortable and most importantly - it was clean. Cookie (the dog) came to say hello while we had coffee in the morning. Our only regret was that we didn't get to see the cat this time. We highly recommend!
My wife & I stayed there 3 nights in the Phoebe room on the second floor. Our room had a nice view of the lake. It was very nice. We could walk to downtown Geneva too several good restaurants for dinner. It is a nice B & B. The breakfast is more of a continental with excellent coffee.
My husband and I just visited the Bragdon House for the 2nd time this year. Jen and Di are amazing. We always stay in The Phoebe. The bed is so comfortable and you wake up to the sun coming up over Seneca Lake. You are treated like family while you are there. So, relaxing. Walking distance to some of the restaurants in Geneva. The muffins at breakfast are so delicious. Thanks again for another wonderful visit.
We only got one night at this adorable and peaceful cottage but can't wait to return! The Bragdon House was comfortable and charming and in a beautiful setting overlooking Seneca Lake. Most importantly, the owners, Jen and her mother, were SO FUN! The inn was very easy, come and go as you please, but also just like visiting family with such wonderful hosts :) Thanks for a great stay!
What a wonderful weekend we just spent at the Bragdon House. Di’s suite is so beautiful and spacious. Even better than the room was our hostess Diana! We couldn’t have felt more at home and like we were spending time with family. Loved your scones and muffins -so delicious. Our personal wine tour that ended up including antiquing was awesome. Thanks for being so flexible. We’ll definitely be back!
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of Septebmer 2019. We were in the Di Suite on the second floor. Very nice room and the bed was soooo comfortable. Lovely back porch with a view of Seneca Lake.
My wife and I spent two fabulous nights here for our anniversary and would return in a minute. We stayed in the first floor study and didn’t want to leave the room it was so nice . The owners were the nicest people you would want to meet. The scones and coffee were the best and Diane would not let us leave without some treats for the road. All in all probably the best place we have stayed in along time..... highly recommended.
We visited the Bragdon House in July for one night in the middle of a trip to see family. This is probably my favorite B & B ever! We stayed in the Phoebe room, which was spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the black and white toile decor. We enjoyed talking to mother-daughter owners Di and Jenn. They were both so friendly and answered all of our questions. We had the most delicious blueberry scones, coffee and fruit. The inn has several different common areas to enjoy, including several porches. The inn is in a wonderful location; many shops and restaurants were within walking distance. I wish we had stayed longer than one weekday night, and we will definitely return!
I am just catching up on all of my TripAdvisor reviews. I stayed at the Bragdon House Inn a few summers ago and it was an excellent experience! The place is so beautiful and in walking distance of downtown Geneva. The breakfasts were delicious. Jen and Dianne were gracious hosts with many great recommendations on wineries and things to do in the area. Their dog Cookie was adorable. I loved everything about this stay, and I hope to make it back there one day.
My friend booked the Bragdon House for her and her husband, their babysitter fell through so I tagged along with her, she was attending a wedding and I figured it'd just be a nice weekend to relax and getaway. I had no idea what to expect of the place she booked. Everything was excellent from before arrival, we received instructions that our room was ready early while on the drive up from PA. Used the code through the instructed email to let ourselves in. The house was pretty quiet for most of the 3 days we were there. Beautiful muffin and coffee spread on the dining room table in the morning! The house is decorated beautifully and you can really tell the owners take pride in serving their guests. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in in a while, and I travel quite often. (we stayed in the Di Suite) So Saturday I met Di when she arrived back with one of the couples staying at the B&B from their wine tour, her personality was immediately bubbly, humorous and welcoming. I ended up chatting for several hours on the screened in patio with Di and the nice couple as my friend attended her cousins wedding. Great dinner recommendation by Di also for the Thai restaurant within walking distance. When we checked out Sunday morning we met Jennifer, Di's daughter. She was baking scones and muffins for breakfast and insisted we take some on the road for our early departure. Very lovely meeting her as well. All around this place is a 10 out of 10, welcoming, beautiful, GREAT LOCATION, GREAT HOSTS. We will definitely be back for a girls wine trip to have Di take us through wine country! Also a great place for a romantic getaway! Anyone giving less then 5 stars must be crazy because I felt as if I was staying with a loving Aunt, Di even offered to tidy our room, fluff pillows etc. STAY HERE! You won't regret it!…
