Detailed Reviews
We had a blast here! It was a short 2 night stay but we managed to enjoy every minute we could. We stayed in a deluxe cabin #228 and it was fairly clean besides the odd fly and a running spider in the bathroom lol. Definitely spring to rent the linens offered to pack less. Bring your own hand soap and if you want to bbq bring your own grilling tools. The kitchen was well stocked only missing tongs. If you are tall like my husband (he's 6'5") the shower may be a bit of a struggle for you. He basically had to hunch over to shower. Myself and our kids had no issues though. You also may want to bring your own shower curtain liner as the one provided was a bit dingy from previous showers. It didn't bother too much as it didn't blow back on us so thankful for that.
The water park was great. If you want to do the lazy river you basically get in line and you get about 2-3 times around before lifeguards let you know to give others a turn. Not too bad as you can get back in whenever and if no line, you can stay in.
Overall we loved our visit. Sorry for the ramblings I wanted to get all thoughts out. Also, if you want to meet the characters they have the times posted in the jellystone app. Can't wait to come back next year.

This was our first time tent camping. We reserved a deluxe tent camp site that included electric and water and our site was next to the Wallkill river. Our group was made up of 4 adults and two 5 year old boys. We setup 2 tents on our camp site. The camp grounds were well maintained and the restrooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and when asked they delivered firewood to our camp site. The resort had just lifted the restriction requiring all guests to reserve 2 hour time limits to use the pool and other water activities. With those restrictions removed we enjoyed all the water activities at the resort(pool, water slides and lazy river) the entire afternoon(more than 2 hours). The weather turned out to be great during Father's Day weekend. The short rain one day didn't interrupt our fun at all. We sat in front of our campfire and had s'mores every night. We rented a golf cart so we could get around the resort easier and not have to walk too much in the hot sun. The most popular mode of transportation around the resort is either walking or a golf cart. There isn't any parking around the water activities for cars, only golf cart parking. If your camp site isn't near the water activities you could have a 10 to 15 minute walk to get to the water activities from your camp site. The general store has everything you need if you run out of things. I told all my friends and family what a great time we had. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay at this Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp Resort again.

Our friend group of 35 people just returned from our second awesome weekend at Jellystone. The kids had an absolute blast. The location, the activities, and the atmosphere were enjoyed by all.
We booked again for next year (with even more people) but unfortunately will be cancelling our 10+ cabin reservations for summer 2022. When we received our booking confirmation, we noticed that the rates for next year for the same exact weekend and cabin have increased by 47% That is not a typo- 47%. I understand because of COVID prices have increased everywhere. However, camping was one of the few activities that families *could* partake in during COVID… therefore Jellystone did not suffer a loss like other establishments. We were there last year and it was hopping with business. We approached the front desk about this situation and they said their hands are tied as corporate sets the rates.
Jellystone- why are you being so greedy and taking advantage of families trying to vacation with their children? No one has increased their rates this much- including Disney World! If you will not work with our group of 50+ people returning for the third time, we will be spending our money elsewhere.

We payed for a premium campsite with a concrete pad, cable hookup, 50 amp and sewage and water. We got none of it besides sewage and water. They also said the waterslide would be open on weekdays but to our surprise it was only open on weekends. We have a 50 amp trailer and they only provided 30 amp so we couldn't run both of our air conditioners. One Star!

+1
Overall this trip was disappointing. When we arrived we were happy with our little cabin on the river. (Cabin 9) The cabin was clean, had lots of pots/pans/plates/utensils/dish soap and a nice view of the river. Unfortunately 1st glance didn’t reveal the beds that felt like you were sleeping on a piece of plywood that left your entire body aching. It didn’t reveal that the refrigerator was defective and would FREEZE all of our food and ruin it.
We were excited for the activities and really choose this location for all they had to offer. Of course the laser tag was the #1 thing our 6 year old was looking forward to and it was broken. We kept being told they had the part and it should be fixed soon. We later learned from a manager that wasn’t true, it had been down for WEEKS (even though advertised just a few days before) and they didn’t have the part and it would not be fixed. Next the pools looked great. But once you were up close the were disgustingly filthy. I mean you could not see the stripe painted on the bottom of the pool and there were clumps of hair and dirt floating. 🤢 I sent a message to management and asked if the pool would be cleaned. We went back the next day and it was shut down. Apparently the filters were broken and we had been swimming in that nastiness!!! The lazy river however was very clean and enjoyable but you can only float in a circle so many times. No getting out of the tubes allowed. So now the laser tag is down and the pool is closed. One was still open but it was gross and too dirty to go in. So we went into the store and bought a mining bag. Went outside to use the mining station and ITS BROKEN. You can’t make this stuff up. We went into the store to inquire and they said it should be fixed by the next day. We decided to pack up and leave a day early. We were not offered and money back for the lost day, the laser tag unused on the ultimate pass we bought or the glitter tattoo they was never offered while we were there and when we inquired at arts & crafts they said maybe we could get it in a few days.
Overall it did look like people who were there in large groups were having a lot of fun. But for us, a small family of 3 we were there for the activities and a comfortable place to sleep and we got neither.

The campground has a lot of great amenities and we loved the pool area. It is a very large campground and the sites are quite close together. However I have camped in other Jellystone camps and these were the smallest sites I have seen. Also, we camped on the tent/pop up sites, and they were all gravel. Prefer to have grass when in a tent. It was great to be right on the river, and we had easy access with our kayak. Our biggest problem was the level of noise. They DID NOT enforce the quiet hours. We complained 3 times in one night. There were 2 large groups close to our site that both made noise until 2 am. The one group also played music loudly until 2 am. The staff did come each time and tell the noisy people to turn off the music, but as soon as the staff left, the music went right back on. It's just common sense that if you have a noise complaint, you need to check back and make sure that it really has been addressed. We were unable to sleep due to the noise level, and we left a day early since we were concerned that it would happen again and we would have another night of noise. I do not plan to camp here again unless the quiet hours are enforced. This is not a cheap campground, and it was full, so you know there should be more than enough money to pay for more people to enforce the quiet hours.

My wife and I came here with our 5 year old and 18 month old. The staff was very friendly and great with our children and there was plenty to do to keep them entertained. Our cabin was clean and overall it was a good time. I would definitely come again knowing now what would have made the trip better.
If you bring a pack and play double check the cabin as some do not have room to accommodate one comfortably unless you put them in the main room with Kitchen, Bathroom, bunk beds and dining table. Also we are near New York City, so be prepared for rude guests and unruly children constantly in your way. There is a lot of foot traffic so when driving it can be a little annoying but these are no fault of the property, just an observation.
The only thing that was a bit annoying is that the cabin beds are very hard and uncomfortable, coupled with activities and walking a lot really left us sore and unmotivated by our second day. Also most activities at the park cost extra so just be aware and plan accordingly.
Overall we had a good time and the staff is excellent. Most of the complaints on here are from people getting mad at other guests but blaming the park. Or they complain about COVID protocols when it was your choice to come to a crowded area, not to mention...YOU ARE OUTSIDE. So if you are getting scared of getting airborne COVID...stay at home and seal any gaps in the doors and windows and hope within the next 50 years the radiation will have dissipated and you can come out. If you need anything I’ll be at Jellystone.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! When googling this place and searching through there website and Facebook pages this place looks absolutely amazing. Resort like and everything you’d be looking for when searching for the best family vacation.
The park this year 2021 has never been so terrible! For starters they can’t keep a general manager! They have been through 3 this year alone. 2019 and 2020 was when I started coming as a seasonal and the GM at the time (Fred) ran this park as if it was his own. He cared and now 2021 is almost done and this place has been a zoo. They took a huge loss when they lost him!
Well here is a little insight when your actually at the park. The sites are totally over grown and not taking care of! The weeds coming through the ground is unbearable! The cars that come speeding through this park is absolutely insane and Workers Rarely tell them to slow down! The workers themselves are on gas carts speeding down the road, they come out on maintenance on the top hill flying. The underage golf cart driving is a disaster. Both pools were shades of green this summer and very cloudy! The main pool which has the water park was pretty much shut down for about a month because they couldn’t clear it up! Tiki (food bar) was out of a lot of there menu. Like how can u run out of nacho cheese when it’s on half of your menu???? Oh and some days it took and hour and half to get your order. (At most 3-5 meals) One night a cabin rental was doing doughnuts and they flipped the golf cart down a hill and yogi staff didn’t want to get involved cause she “had just cracked open a beer”. Drove by later on and there was caution tape around it, still in the ditch. The guy driving the golf cart was pooping in the woods at the end of my row.
I could literally go on for days but to wrap this up I gotta say. The seasonal rates going up to 8250 is absolutely insane for how this park is ran! A 750$ increase is uncalled for in one year. By the way they kicked out 25 seasonals and told them 2 weeks prior to ending the season. These family’s are now scrambling to break down sites and break the news to there kids! These kids are the ones who worked for the camp ground in the summer, helped anytime the park needed anything. During the Halloween season they helped worked the haunted trail for free.
At the end of the day this park doesn’t care about what it once was, a family oriented camp ground that treated campers like family and a reasonable priced trip away from home. They only care about there pockets and how to make you aggravated coming into the park and make you leaving extremely disappointed and wondering why you spent the money in the first place. There are many campgrounds that may not have the same amenities but offer what we were after in the first place and that is camping with our families!!

I stayed there for the camp and store this fall. Although advertising of Enforcement of masks and social distancing was in effect no one in the staff monitored or enforced these rules where the kids and people flock to throughout the day. There was advertising of every 30 minute Sanitizing and cleaning of common areas, and these areas are not touched by staff throughout the day except the bathrooms. My daughter caught a strain of MRSA on the play areas because of these negligences. I can only hope they fix this since COVID19 is still a thing. I would stay away from the property until they get their act together.

Halloween weekend was so much fun for kids and parents alike. Riverfront campsite was big and nice concrete pad. Plenty of room for cars and golf cars and our friends got a hot tub delivered to site which the kids loved. I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use it. Had multiple playgrounds, one with two bouncy pillows that the kids loved. Overall loved it. Was a little expensive and we looked up to try going during peak summer by was way too much per night. $200 seems extreme but do have a lot of activities. Some for additional expense.
