This is a great place to stay expecially if you are an outdoors type person. The lodge is clean and very comfortable. It is a no frills place but has everything you need. Snacks of apples and cookies and tea and coffee are available 24 hours. During my stay the breakfast was quich, blueberry bread and fruit. All the homemade...

This was the first time we went to Minnewaska Lodge...and I can assure you, it won't be the last! The location was great, right in the mountains, but easy to get to. Stayed for a weekend last spring, bike riding with friends. great place, real laid back and comfy. When we were younger we used to camp on the rocks at trapps bridge but now we have this. We'll be back!

We drove up to New York to climb in the "Gunks". We have always camped in a nearby campground. This time we wanted to treat ourselves and we absolutely picked the perfect place- Minnewaska Lodge. Let me say that the rooms are really nice but what we loved most were breakfasts out on the deck overlooking the beautiful Shawnagunk ridge....

The night I spent at the minnewaska lodge was one of the most relaxed I have been in a long time. We sat out by the fire and met some really nice people. It was so quiet and peacful. Beautifully designed and maintained and a great setting with the mountains in the background. Arts and crafts style furnishings in the common areas as well as rooms add to the ambience. This place is wonderful! It was a great surprise to see how upscale everything was and the offers of free coffee and fruit all day long are so enjoyable. We've been to the Minnewaska Lodge several times and love it more and more every time we go!! The staff is so pleasant and its just the perfect place to stay.
