The complete chaos in the campground this year was deplorable! Camper's park how ever they wanted to, not in their site, parked sideways. Parking their vehicles anywhere and everywhere they wanted to in their site or someone else's. Kids leaving their toys in the road, one camper was doing burnouts on the roadway coming in to the campground each night we were there. Trucks driving around and around someone will get hurt or killed pretty soon if they don't get some control over these types of campers.i wish I took a photo of the chaos to post. This use to be a fantastic family campground, but not anymore.

Our group from Kentucky stayed at Woodstream. It was a good home base as we visited Letchworth State Park for trail hiking and seeing waterfalls. Staff friendly and accomodating. Sites level. Can recommend to others.

I got a call saying I can’t camp there but was never told by the last years owners I was loud no one but a permanent camper came to my site and it was at 7:00 pm saying we were being loud! The only thing we were doing was laughing!!!! I guess when you camp you can’t laugh! This place is a joke!

This is a great family campground. Lots to do, great level sites, back section is all full timers but are so separate from camels you might not know it. The IRS no wifi, and very little cell service so be prepared. The GPS wanted us to go all around the campground and come in threw the back roads. We just watched the signs which were correct. I would give a 5 star rating if the wifi worked.

Nice camp ground. Stream going through & public bathroom facility with pay by the quarter shower. Our site backs up to a main road, so there is some noise, but there are some trees separating us. Here midweek & there are many open sites.

We arrived at the office only to find our site was in an area that we passed on the way in. This is where the majority of campsites are except seasonals. Almost everyone has to turn around. There is an area in front of the office to turn around. It is not large. You will be scrubbing the tires as you turn. I mentioned that to the woman in the office who had no concern. I don't like screwing up my tires when it could have been avoided It is not in the website but she suggests calling the office for your site then go to the office after unhooked. Then we arrived at our pull thru site to find the utilities are at every other site meaning every 2 campers will be facing each other. Again not happy about camping/ facing someone I don't know. Would be ok if you had friends camping with you. There appears to have plenty to do for the children. The swimming pool is a fenced in pond !

My wife and I parked our camper overnight while we visited the State Park. The camp ground was quite and the people at the store were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our evening around a camp fire. No Cable or WiFi in the camping area. Only limited WiFi at the store area. We did not have kids with us, but this place had a lot for kids. Even a small creek that kids would take inner tubes and float down stream through the park. Very nice.

Finding the campsite was pretty easy. They have signs posted on the roads. Check in was easy. Upon finding our site I was very dismayed to hear cars rushing past right behind our site. We were at 10T and there is a road about 10 feet right through the back of our sites. I was very worried about any drivers that could swerve and plow right through the site. There is hardly anything from stopping a car/truck traveling that fast on the road. Also, when making the reservation it was never stated to me that the tent sites were all 220 power. Of course you had to get an adapter which they were all out of. Another camper on a different site was going to a Walmart and offered to buy one for us (thank you Sandy on site 12T!) When I called down to the office they weren't too concerned that we were unable to use the electric and I asked for a partial refund as we were unable to cook any food (we were prepared for electric appliances). As of yet I have not received the refund. There were plenty of other sites that I would say are a better choice. When we called to make the reservation we took the last two sites for our dates. Of course you don't pay until you check in which makes it very unfortunate when half the campers never even show and we could have chosen a different site. Management didn't care for that either. All in all we cut our trip short with no electric and no way to cook any food we left Saturday morning.

This is really a no frills camp ground. The kids enjoyed the playground and the volleyball court. The sites are small and very tight. Only a limited number of full hook ups. We brought rafts and went down the creek many times. The kids loved it. The water was slow enough for my 4 yr old yet my 11 yr old had fun. There was a chicken bbq one night that was good.

We have been avid campers for 18 years and have spent Memorial Day weekend here for the past probably 10 years. The power supply has never been great, but this year it was unacceptable and unusable without the risk of damage to our unit. Appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators and hot water heaters will run on insufficient power supply, but run the risk of a shortened life/and or permanent damage. Confirm that with your RV dealer! The power was not sufficient to run any of the appliances. We did not run the AC all weekend and we ran the fridge and hot water heater on our own propane all weekend. We we approached management about it, she asked if we would be returning next year. When we told her no, her only response was that she has a waiting list of people to take our sites. She offer no apology, no possible solution, and no partial refund or compensation!

Response from Jackie K, General Manager at Woodstream Campsite
Responded Feb 27, 2018
We realize that there was a problem with the power supply. Upon checking with the power company, they admitted that they had cut our power to conserve. This was very unfortunate and hopefully this will not happen in the future. We hope that you will consider giving Woodstream another try. The campground is under new management and the previous store manager is no longer employed there.
