I stayed in this hotel with my family for 2 split days, May 28th and May 31st. My tour was starting at walk-able distance and LGA (LaGuardia) airport was very near to the hotel which made me to select this hotel. If you are looking for a night stay, it's a perfect and a decent choice.

My friends and I recently stayed at Flushing Hotel as we were in town for a concert. We knew it wasn’t going to be great but just wanted a clean place to crash afterwards. It was a fair experience. The front desk clerk was nice enough. Upon arrival the room smelled strongly of bleach. By morning that smell was strongly of mold. We found a hair in the bed when we checked for bedbugs but I’d rather find the hair personally. The curtains had some mold on them and there was what appeared to be a booger on the bathroom wall. The one drinking glass in the bathroom had lipstick on it. With that being said.... for $150 and within a mile of citifield it wasn’t that awful. There were no bedbugs and that’s all that mattered. We weren’t there for a vacation. Just a girls night. We just needed somewhere to crash a bit afterwards. There is parking but if you have an suv like myself beware. The lot is tight!!!! If you can handle the things I mentioned for a night this place is for you. I wouldn’t stay there more than one night nor would I stay there with my kids.

Will never again come here again. No way to contact the main desk after booking. Hotel policy to switch dates or cancel is impossible because of their lack of communication with guests. I lost money from a accidental cancellation attempting to change dates and they denied refunding or waiving my next room accomidation in Flushing Hotel. The inside of the rooms are old fashioned and I have been to motels cheaper and cleaner than this room. My room had a hole by the bathroom door knob, the lever for the bathtub came apart just by turning it on. And there was a leak in the bathroom sink. And dont get me started with the bed and air conditioner. The queen bed for a couple was just springs and the air conditioner switch wasn't working all that well. The walls had crack and smudges. And finally, the room had this weird odor from the rug that we had to ventilate out. When I showed the damages to the main desk, they looked at each other, laughed and spoke in Mandarin and told me ok. Wish I knew what they were saying... The only few good things they did was provide fresh clean towels for the bathroom and sheets for our bed. The free breakfast was okay too. Typical chinese breakfast and some frozen waffles/pancakes for the kids. It's free, can't really complain about that. I really like the varity of asian cuisine you can get at Flushing but I will definitely avoid coming back to Flushing Hotel ever again.

The hotel is a good choice for a night, especily if you have a flight through LaGuardia which is like 4 km away (you can actually hear the planes), but expect no real help from the reception desk - had to ask twice to bring towels (none was in the room), the window was closed, but the wind was blowing through the frame and was never washed, upon asking for cab, we were asked to call it since they cannot get through (worked from the first attempt with us tho!), and that was the nice guy, because another receptionist found it more important to answer his FB message first before completing our registration.
