We had an airport cancellation that required us to find a last minute room reservation. We were exhausted after a very long day at the airport. We were welcomed in warmly and genuinely. All that was available was a king suite. The suite was enormous. It had a full kitchen (though no plates, cookware or utensils) with full size appliances and a dishwasher! The room was clean. One side of the bed was up very close to the air conditioning vent and the cold air blew on us whenever it kicked on. We were only there one night so we put up with it. If we would have been staying longer - I would have asked for a room change. We got dinner from the onsite Italian restaurant. It was good and well priced. Our room package included breakfast buffet the next morning and it had a lot of variety and was very good. The servers were very friendly and kind. There was a complimentary shuttle to LaGuardia which was very much appreciated. The gentleman that drove us was very friendly and nice. Thank you for making a hard situation a little bit easier. We enjoyed our unplanned stay.

i have been staying at this hotel for the last 6-7 years , on each visit not less than 5 nights . however during my last visit from 23rd june to 30th june , i noticed the quality of service was low . on the day i checked in i noticed human hair on pillow cases late in the evening . when i complained to the front desk i was informed that house keeping staff was off hence bedding cannot be changed . when i requested for fresh pillow cases some one turned up and gave me two fresh pillows , very apologetically , as it was a favour .

We found a room here at a very good rate, even though it was close to Laguardia Airport and had a free shuttle. It's on a busy street in the midst of a large Asian section. It's crowded around the hotel and the hotel facade and location were not that impressive, but step inside and everything changes. This Sicilian themed place has friendly people everywhere, a warm welcoming lobby, spotless rooms that are carefully cleaned each day, great toiletries in good size bathrooms, good free WiFi controlled by a private "Code" for very basic security, excellent AC, which was critical during our stay, excellent well-maintained bed and furniture, a truly fabulous on-site Italian restaurant that has great food for dinner at reasonable prices, and that also is the site for the daily breakfast, and if you like a hearty big breakfast, this $12 buffet breakfast is unbeatable. The morning restaurant supervisor Barbara (yes from Sicily) is a ray of sunshine and joy every day as her son Merko, and her husband Fabio who manages the restaurant for dinner is an equally gregarious, generous, effervescent person and I think also a good chef since he helps out in the kitchen, which provided us with our best meal of the 1 week trip, seafood on fresh locally-made pasta. The gym is OK with an adequate range of equipment. The #7 subway runs from mid-west-Manhattan to its last stop in Flushing about 4 easy blocks from the hotel through the always bustling streets. Beware if you fly in to Laguardia on a late flight, the shuttle stops around 11PM. Cabs are cheaper than Uber or Lyft. The airport construction its a HUGE mess. Allow at least 30-45 minutes extra for coming and going.

- Flew into La Guardia Airport. Use the hotel shuttle to get from and too the airport. Lyft or Uber the next best way to get to the hotel, we used a bus, Q48 line and it too forever with the traffic. To get a taxi you first need to take a shuttle to the taxi stands. La Guardia airport is undergoing major renovating. - Check in smooth. Room on the third floor. - Breakfast included, hot items, eggs, sausage, bacon and cereal. - The hotel is in the middle of the second Chinatown in New York City in size near to Chinatown in Manhattan (maybe bigger?). - The concierge, Eddie, will bend over backwards to accommodate your any question. He stayed an hour past his shift to pick up guest we had arriving late at night. - For a hotel on a busy street it was quiet on the third floor. Of course the higher the better.

This hotel is a gem. Great facilities, great location, great staff, great price, ... it's a great place. The hotel is near the airport for quick commute time, but also in the heart of Flushing/Queens so that you can walk around and eat. It's also near the transit lines so you can hop a train anywhere. In the heart of an Asian district, there are lots of Dim Sum and Bubble tea restaurants - I was in heaven.
