Recently stayed at The Madison for a weekend. To be honest, there's not much available when it comes to hotels in Fire Island, and this one is at least clean. But I'm sorry it's not worth anything near what they charge. The rooms are tiny, the walls are super thin, and the staff can't really be bothered to greet or...

We stayed at the Madison during the weekday for two nights at the end of August. There is nothing to complain about this property. The rooms are large, comfortable and feel like a luxury suite. The staff was always accommodating and friendly. A light breakfast is served in the morning and we cooked on the grill in the evenings meeting...

Had a lovely stay in Madison Fire Island Pines for two nights in June. The whole Fire Island experience was fantastic. A lot of the Fun happens in Cherry Grove and Madison is in the next resort down which is more peaceful. We enjoyed being able to relax around the pool in the day and walking to Cherry Grove in...

This is a small hotel that's run almost like a homestay. The rooms are big, airy and very comfortable. Room amenities are nothing to shout about but not only is breakfast included, they welcome you to use the kitchen that comes with conventional oven, stove and microwave oven. Although you have your own mini fridge in your own room, you...

Just got back from our second visit at the Madison, this time just three nights. The Madison and its staff continued to exceed our expectations. The upkeep at a beachside setting is continuous, the complaints by other reviewers long since repaired, new minor issues here and there, but nothing that would ruin a stay. There is a photo of a...

Very close to the pier and grocery, also nice quiet location. The hotel itself is beautiful and pretty new. We cooked our dinner in the main kitchen which is very nice. Check out the rooftop on the main building to see sunset and sky. The only thing is that if you stay in the pool-side room you cannot adjust ac...

We booked one night at the end of August. It was love at first sight. That very night we decided to add another night. It was like finding an oasis off the shores of Long Island. Ambvionce was the name of the game. The pool was beautiful, the hot tub perfection. My camera could not adequately capture the night time...

From arrival to departure our stay was fantastic the guys were great an made us feel very welcome. The whole atmosphere of the Madison is one of relaxation which with a two night stay is just what you need. The room we had was very comfortable (might be worth replacing the bed sheet with the tear) and the breakfast was...

The Madison is a beautiful place to stay for your trip to fire island. It is very close to the main harbor so getting home after arrival, going to tea, going to the beach, and the pantry is like a 2 minute walk. They have a beautiful pool, an awesome hot tub, as well as a beautiful sun deck on...
