We absolutely loved the tiny house. It’s well made and provided all the essentials for a simple get away. Major downside was mold visible in the mini split vents. It was far too hot to sleep with the air shut off, so we just dealt with it but definitely something they should be maintaining as well as the rest of the house. Many mini split systems need to have their filters cleaned as often as every two weeks!

Our first time to Tuxbury. Park is a good location for touring towns. Newburyport, Amesbury, Haverhill, even Boston is about an hour away. Park has a lot of potential. Nice and quite. Pool area is great. Very clean. Nice deck with plenty of room for sunbathing. Restrooms are very clean, a little dated, but very clean. Could use some exhaust fans. Tammy does a great job. She's a very hard worker. We saw her cleaning restrooms in hot humid weather to cleaning the pool facility in a downpour. She's a keeper. Obviously I'm impressed with her so I thought she deserved a shout out. Park has quite a few Seasonals. The access roads are very poor. Many potholes and alot of mud. Drainage for our campsite needs some attention. We had to build a bridge over our own personal pond to access our trailer. Trash dumpster is too far away and a hassle. Andrew, the new park manager, just arrived during our stay. Nice man and good people skills. He walked around Introducing himself to the people trying to get a feel for the needs and concerns. We would definitely book here again.

Very cute little house. You need to be a gymnast to maneuver into the loft bed, but quite cozy once you get settled. Tuxbury provides outside seating - a picnic table and two plastic Adirondack chairs, which is good, because there really isn’t any place to eat inside the tiny house. There’s a shelf with to stools and a rather uncomfortable couch. Pray for good weather. All the tiny houses are placed next to the pond, and away from the main part of the RV park. I imagine the place is very noisy in season. If you’ve watched a million tiny house shows and are curious about living in one, definitely rent one of these for a couple of nights. Tiny houses are good for one person, any more and it’s too crowded. Also, be aware there is no microwave, otherwise the kitchens are well equipped.

as a newbie in the RV world my partner and I were very impressed with tux bury pond campground. since covid our travel life’s has changed and we discovered the RV world and the many benefits of being self contained travelers has truly opened our eyes to this lifestyle. tux bury is a beautiful campground with a small surrounding lake-reservoir. the true beauty is waking in the morning and hearing nature and small children playing. the grounds are beautiful and well kept and maintained, it was too cold but they also have 2 beautiful pools. they have a doggie park which was quite a unique experience, this place is totally beautiful and very relaxing, we are hoping to become join the park to become annual campers. Brian the manager makes his daily round, greets campers, toting his clipboard and doing his daily checks, he’s a thorough manager and runs a tightly organized campground. The cleanliness of the campground is well kept. Maintenance works in overdrive with the team, Danielle, always busy keeping the roadways and assisting the many campers with challenges of hooking up etc, she was truly a tremendous asset to us and the park.
Tux bury is a well situated location, 45 from boston, 20 to Portsmouth, beaches and plum island were completely inundated with people so it was a nice drive on the coastal route but way over populated for us. Went back to the park and relaxed at our site with a small fire. Transients need to be reminded that there is wood available at the store but should be told at the time of arrival so they can purchase. We were also able to choose our own site, this was great and we chose to be close to the water, peace and serenity best describes our experience and will return next year.My only suggestion would be, it to have a, what’s happening in the park newsletter to us transients, or socializing by the pool on Friday or Saturday nights with cocktails with the parks occupants?
there were a few bad apples in the park, that were recently removed, so don’t believe the negative reviews here. The camp definitely has a great family vibe here with so many different age groups and really genuine campers, and you feel really safe here! the security guy paul is around the park continually and stopped by to chat,
kudos to all of the staff on the property, y’all rock this park!

First, the address online 88 Whitehall (and in the email I just received is wrong, takes us to another area..
Our site had a pair of old socks, used paper towels, drier sheets, and popcorn all over the back side. With bug issues, the popcorn was a concern. We did call the office to let them know it was there, and it concerned us. Nothing was done.
Mud was all over the site. Please understand, this location is in a drought, with almost all the grass being dead. It was NOT from rain. From what we could figure, it was the site next to ours . They had an extra water hose connected to their water connection.
When driving to our site, we found that people had added a fence all the way to the street, and placed speed bumps to keep the speeds down. This chokes the road down VERY tight. This was done right at some of the annual sites, with golf carts parked right at the street. The speed bumps are awesome, but the fencing is not.
The garbage area was a mess. In all my years of travels, I have never seen such a pile of trash outside the dumpsters. It actually looked like I was at a landfill.
We are not people that complain, but the issues were over the top. We were delayed coming in, and only stayed 2 nights…. We were glad we did not stay the full week we had planned. We had read bad reviews online, but chose to come anyway to see for ourselves. We are sad to say this is one site we will not return to.

We were very disappointed that free wifi was not available at the site, so not being able to use our Roku streaming device might have been a problem. Thankfully there was cable. To use our electronic devices at the site, internet is available for a fee.
Arrived on Saturday, the bathroom was finally cleaned for the first time on Tuesday With Covid I expected much more.
The main form of entertainment for people seemed to be riding their golf carts around and around.

This place is NOT A RESORT by any means. The camp store is practically empty, the bathrooms and showers are usually dirty and barely maintained, the linings of the pools have holes in them, the landscaping is done by the SEASONALS who pay to have the grounds maintained…where does all the money that we pay for the upkeep go?
Basically, it’s a campground run and maintained by the seasonal campers who have to make the best of it with what little they have. The seasonal campers are the ones who pay for the materials and run the activities for the kids. Not once has any of them been reimbursed. One camper in particular did all of the work by herself to open both pools for the campers to use for the season. If it wasn’t for her and her dedication to her camp family, those pools would have been closed the entire season. (She also, did not get paid for her time)
Last but not least, when our season was cut short by two weeks, we wanted answers. We got the run around from corporate, and the District Manager was completely unprofessional and rude to the very people who basically pay his salary. More often than not, campers who interacted with him left feeling extremely angry by the way he had talked to them.
Without the die hard seasonals, this campground would be nothing…

Pouring rain upon arrival. Were met with super nice staff in the office. The campground is really nice and spread out. Our site had plenty of space. Took a walk early Saturday morning and people really take nice care of their seasonal sites. The tiny houses are great too! We brought our kayaks, but didn't get a chance to use them, next time! Overall great stay.

We rented tent site for the weekend for a family camping trip and the bathrooms were not cleaned or did not seem to be cleaned the time we were there.
The tent sites are right next to the sewer pipe which give off a terrible smell, there is no getting away from.
It was pouring the day we were suppose to arrive and they offered us room under the pavilion to stay dry which was nice.

I have just completed my 2nd year as a seasonal.
The campground is on their 3rd manager in those two years. The assistant manager has also left after only 2 years on the job.
It took 5 months, 2 phone calls and 9 emails to get a small maintenance issue resolved.
There is an inconsistency on how the staff communicates with seasonals. Currently the contracts for 2023 have not been sent out to all campers and there is no communication from Tuxbury on when to expect them.
The pools at the campground need new liners since Ive been there.
The roads at the campground need to be fixed. The number of potholes reminds you of the interstate after an earthquake.
The showers had the same shampoo bottle and empty soap boxes the entire season.
Numerous times throughout the season we will lose electricity or water and the only people are made aware is via a camper run facebook page and not via an email from corporate.
We were unable to have fires at the start of the season because maintenance didn't pick up the leaves campers removed from their site. At the close of camp there were still piles that had not been moved to the dumpsters.
It seems that the campground does not respond to negative posts on this site, they only respond to the positive reviews.

Friendly beaver in new Boston
You shouldn’t swim, at 1 point there was a sandy beach. The 1 thing that is great is the fishing. There are apps that anglers use to record their catch There is definitely good fishing in this pond!!!! I’ve seen first hand since drought the structure at the shoreline, that will definitely be a game changer this spring on my technique.
There are no amenities nothing in the store and no management running the place but they will happily take your money
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else
Yes the dumpsters are outside the campground:( it wasn't a dump. But it could had been mowed and freshen up some. The office personnel we're very friendly.... When asked for quarters for laundry she said no needed to save them for the weekend 😕. Then when I came back up to ask another question a guy was there and he helped me with some bread. I asked again about quarters and he gave me $10.00 worth, thank you sir. Overall it's ok for a few days.
