Visited this evening. Very quiet on arrival just 2 or 3 people watching sports on the TV in a separate lounge. We waited in the bar/entrance area as no staff were present , 15-20 minutes later a member of staff asked if we required anything. There was good service once we had our table which was booked for 6pm and...

Recently stayed at this hotel after being gifted a Groupon voucher for a nights bed, breakfast and evening meal (main course only) with a bottle of Prosecco. This hotel was chosen because it stated it was 'dog friendly' and would save us trying to get our pet looked after however after arriving we discovered the dogs were not allowed in...

When we checked in we were told the 'meal' was main course only which was a bit misleading. I was required to sign a 'terms and conditions' form which was...

Recently stayed at this hotel for two nights with a voucher given to us as a gift. On arrival we were checked in by a pleasant girl on reception and given key to room. Bedroom was quite big with views towards the Forth Bridges. Bathroom however was fairly small and could do with being updated. Included in our deal was...

Bought a Groupon Voucher for DBB here, having first made sure dogs were admitted. Stayed over this week and were then told that our dog, who is an elderly Labrador and is extremely well behaved - was brought up in Germany where dogs are even allowed in restaurants - had to either remain in our room or in the car!...

Just back from overnight stay here. Groupon voucher for b & b with dinner and a bottle of wine . Staff were 1st class from beginning to end. Food excellent only criticism is portions are too big (not something you usually hear). Well cooked and good variety. Decor a bit tired but very clean. Our room-no 11 had fabulous view...
