Currently we are staying in this fabulous hotel with the most honourable, caring and helpful staff. We booked a deluxe beach front for 4 nights, we got an early check in at 9:30, tomorrow our flight is 23:45, surprisingly we were informed that we could keep the room until 20!! The room is spacious, with a lovely ocean view from the room,.. We also had a delicious desert for our anniversary. Everything is amazing. I have to mention that it was our second visit to this hotel, last one was on 2015, both of them became memorable, specially this time. I would like to thank the staff.
An incredible property, resort and island. From start to finish - this resort doesn't disappoint and the attention to detail and service quality. Very peaceful and nice house reefs , lucky to see dolphins, fish, hermit crab etc swimming outside our villa. Activities and excursions by the hotel were very well organized and professional - with incredible attention to detail and paced according to the individuals experience (Diving / Snorkeling for example). Kids friendly resort. They have their Kids club all ages. Food and beverages were fantastic and of a very high quality - albeit in some cases on the pricier side - you were never disappointed with both its presentation and taste. There is also a great selection of restaurants and eating options. Thank you Chef Mani and Chef Robert. and Christian. The Staff are extremely polite and friendly. Good quality of customer services. Moshi and Sephora thank you for the amazing photographs and memories that me and my daughter will treasure. Thank you too Christine for very enjoyable stay. Surely will come back to Kurumba Resort.…
Excellent from A-Z. From Check-in through the quality of the accomodations and food, the friendliness of the personnel to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the resort. If you have a request, they react right away and everybody is very relaxed. Looking forward to staying there again!
All I can say is wow! My husband and I returned to the Maldives after a few years and tried this resort. We stayed elsewhere before and that raised the bar but this place was just as amazing and beautiful. Our villa (deluxe garden) was very spacious with a super sized plunge pool and awesome outdoor shower. It was very secluded and excellently maintained. The staff were on the ball and extremely friendly. Nothing was
We really enjoyed our stay at Kurumba in August. I must say that the staff really do make the resort. The staff in Thila (Shahu, Naajih and Azmeel) were particularly attentive, making breakfast the most enjoyable meal of the day for our family. The ladies in the Kids Club (Rucksanna and Alina) were great with our two young daughters too - in fact, I think they would have spent every minute there if they could! We also had our photoshoot with Naaif which was a great experience. He was great with the kids and made us all feel at ease throughout. We generally find it difficult getting group family photos on holiday, so definitely take the opportunity to get your pictures taken in such a beautiful setting. Some of the cons: I note a few of the reviews mention the view from some of the beach front villas. This is correct, on one side of the island the views aren’t particularly great as you can see the main land (high-rises in distance etc) and you tend to see the occasional plane overhead due to the flight path(s). If you’re looking for ‘a quintessential Maldives’ experience of a remote island then Kurumba would likely disappoint you in this regard, if you’re on that side of the island. However, we chose this resort knowing the proximity to mainland and considered this a positive for our stay with our 3 small children (just a 15-20 min boat ride). The views on the other side of the island are as you would expect from a 5* Maldives resort. I would also say that whilst the Beach Front Villas are well kept, they are very dark due to their positioning and long rectangular shape / floor plan. I viewed a few more rooms on the island which were on slightly squarer plots and therefore let more light into the rooms. This could possibly taken into consideration when the rooms undergo the next refurbishment (lighter furniture/colour schemes etc). Whilst we found all the food to be excellent during our stay, I feel the choice for the kids was very limited (generally 1-2 choices from their area each evening). However, I would say that this is only an adult observation - the children were more than content with the food each evening. On the whole, the resort really is excellent and we will definitely return at some point in future.…

The best resort I have been to, no wonder people keep coming back to this place! Wonderful staff and nature and everything just perfect. We stayed in a beachfront villa with our "private" beach, and it was an amazing experience to see both small sharks and stingrays etc swimming in the lagoon. It was also nice to see many fish species in the water while snorkeling just outside our villa. Sadly most of the corals were dead due to high temperature some years ago that made the corals die. The food was exceptional good. I still dream about the oxcheek served on the pier, stunning view and stunning food. The fish and chips is also worth a try! The service was very good, I am going to miss getting my laundry back in beautiful bamboo baskets and getting my bed done twice a day. It was pure luxury and we enjoyed it very much. We especially want to thank and mention Rukoo in the kids club, who also gave swimming lessons to our daughter; a fantastic person!! And thank you to Milan in the japanese restaurant did a very good job and was so friendly with us and our daughter. And thank you, April, in the restaurant, for taking good care of us and always remembering all our orders of food and drink without even writing it down. We stayed here in the monsoon time june/july for 2 weeks, and it was low-season, which meant that there was plenty of space in the restaurants and on the beach etc. The weather was not too bad after all, we had sun most of the days (but rain in the nights). The only thing that I could wish was different, was a somewhat lower price on all inclusive, because it was quite expensive for food and activities when the activities were often cancelled due to "bad weather"/ wind, and we also had to pay extra for doing trips out with boat to see dolphins because they first cancelled the trip for everyone because of waves, then at the same time said yes to take us out if we paid them even more (USD 350 x 2 for 2 families). We thought this could have been taken better care of afterwards so we did not have to pay extra. But anyway, a very good experience, our first trip to the Maldives, and we hope to come back some day.…
What a great place! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was one of our best holiday, they made us feel special. Clean, well maintained accomodation to stay. I wish to go back again in the future.
Hubby and I booked here for three days before we headed off to our next island in the Maldives. Upon arriving at male airport we were taken to the karumba counter and taken across the road to the boat who took us to the island. It was only a ten minute trip . The island has beautiful gardens and a number of restaurants to choose from. The breakfast buffet has lots to choose from. There is a buggy that takes you around the island however everything is only a short walk away. the staff are very friendly and there are a number of different speaking language staff.
