We were 'taken' with this bed and breakfast as soon as we walked in; the decor is magnificent! Maurice is a superb host, and a wonderful chef. Patricia has a wonderful sense of humor, and makes you feel 'at home' immediately! The St. Bernard's are 'gentle giants'!!!! The breakfasts were sumptuous! We felt as though we were royalty! The private... More

House is very well designed & appointed. Hosts were welcoming. Food was good. A very nice choice for the East End. 10 minute drive to Greenport where there are several nice choices for dinner. We recommend Noah's for dinnner & Frisky Oyster for drinks afterwards.

The rooms are very nice and super clean. The breakfast is lovely. The best part is the private beach very nearby -- its rocky but so secluded and just divine. The only negative: I don't love dogs and they have two giant dogs so don't wander in the back yard.

Dear Human, Happy you liked our breakfasts, sheets, private beach and enjoyed your stay. Sad, though, you didn't like US. We apologize for our size. St. Bernards are usually large, though. Apparently, you did not see us on the Inn's website, bythebluff.com, or read the Guest Information Letter emailed to you. Thank you for alerting millions of potential guests to... More

Everything about this place whispered elegance and charm. The hosts, Patricia and Maurice, welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Their breakfast was outstanding and the coffee was delicious! They even had cookie snacks for those late night cravings. My husband is 6'9" and we were surprised to learn that even he fit in the very comfortable bed!... More

Our first stay with Patricia & Maurice was a wonderful experience! It's such a charming & lovely home. The accommendations were superb and I love how the home is so warm, inviting, intimate & welcoming! This B&B does not fall short of anything. The cleanliness alone is worth the stay! One room was better than the next. To say the... More

My mom and I stayed here during our first trip to Long Island for wine tasting. We were not familiar with the area and decided on this B&B based on the photos and reviews. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the lavender fields, & Greenport. The B&B was nicely appointed and very clean. I would recommend this place to... More
