My wife and I needed an East Hampton getaway, and someone told us about East Hampton House. Our Deluxe Studio exceeded our expectations. Our bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and we were able to control our room temperature easily and quickly. The kitchenette included coffemaker, dishware, glassware, flatware, cookware, an amply-sized mini fridge, dishwasher and even a state-of-the-art induction stovetop! Our room was tastefully decorated and included a 70-inch flatscreen television. After a busy day exploring the East Hampton environs, we could sit and watch the sunset from our living room (see attached picture). When we wanted to exercise, the property has a fitness area that includes new equipment (I know this because two people were installing a new NordicTrack machine). The property was quiet and staff attentive. If you are looking for an East Hampton winter respite, you will not be disappointed.

Immaculately restored vintage motel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, crisp and clean. The bath room was beautifully finished with excellent water pressure. The location is excellent. Across the street is Carissas, the perfect spot for a quick breakfast or lunch.

We stayed two nights in a one bedroom, renovated room. The airconditioning worked well. The living room was tastefully decorated. The kitchenette was stocked with some pots, plates, cutlery. The fridge has a separate freezer compartment. When showering, the bathroom becomes very humid because there’s no fan (but there’s a window). Parking is available right in front of your room. There was a king-size bed (room 219). The amenities include two tennis courts, swimming pool and play area. The grounds are manicured and beautiful. Price range is that what you can expect in the Hamptons so comparatively don’t expect 5-star even if the price would make you think that. The reception agents were prompt and friendly, except for one young woman who argued with me regarding an item I was requesting to be replenished.

We stayed there last August and I would tell everyone to avoid this place at all costs. It was dirty and dingy and then the hotel overcharged me and refused to explain the overcharge or refund it, despite 20+ calls to the manager. They do not care about their guests or providing any sort of customer service. Totally dishonest and gross.

Selected the East Hampton House as the place to stay for a Thanksgiving visit with friends in nearby Sag Harbor as it was the only accommodation I could find that I could afford in this very pricy resort area. Is this a 5 star property? no, I'd call it high mid-level, but on that basis I think its as good as anyone could reasonably expect at the price. To my surprise it turned out to be the nicest hotel I've stayed in the past several years. The room was very clean, bright and appealing furnished, the mattress was excellent and as a bonus there was a small but useful kitchen with some plates, utensils, a dishwasher, etc. in addition to a fridge and microwave. The room is heated with an A/C wall unit that provides either hot or cold air as desired and worked very quietly and efficiently. The motel is a two-story structure with two wings, both well back from the highway on very attractively landscaped grounds. I understand there are recreational amenities such as an outdoor pool, etc. but it was the wrong time of the year to be in a pool and anyway I was spending time with my friends. All of the units, I believe, come with a balcony or patio and all overlook a large and pretty green area. None of the units face the highway. Access is either directly from the parking lot to the door or, for second story units, from an outdoor corridor. There is an outside staircase to the second story and guests who might have difficulty with that would have to request a ground floor unit. The location is super, about a mile east of the very pretty and very posh village of East Hampton and a short drive from Southampton to the west, Sag Harbor to the north and Montauk to the east.

This was our second stay this summer. The place is situated in a beautiful, peaceful setting within a great location in East Hampton. Nice pool, tennis courts, clean rooms and very nice staff. We had a great time and the price for a very large and comfortable room is the very attractive. Thank you! We’ll be back

Had a two night confirmed reservation through booking.com starting a Saturday at 4:00PM. Less than 24 hrs before I received an email stating the reservation was cancelled. I called the hotel and was told that there were no rooms; it wasn't their problem deal with booking.com. Checking the email I saw that indeed the East Hampton House had acknowledged my reservation and responded to a request for early check in. Outside booking agencies are give the rooms by the Hotels. No excuse for claiming "we are not responsible."
