The moment I stepped into the hotel we felt welcomed. The hotel was throughly cleaned. The staff were friendly The breakfast was stocked and had a variety of hot and cold items. The tea and coffee that was offered through out the evening was well appreciated too.

Hotel's Favorite
We had an overnight stay for an early flight out of LGA and we had a perfectly fine stay. We had dropped our rental off at Avis/LGA and called the Hampton Inn where they promptly sent the shuttle to pick us up. The wait time was minimal - 5 minutes at most. When we entered the lobby, it was great to see just how busy they were-things are looking up in the travel industry - finally. (We travel a lot). We had a minor wait to receive our keys for our room, which we had chosen and checked in on line the day before. For some reason, maybe security, our digital key was not ready for us. Makes sense in the time of Covid. Within 10 minutes we were up in our room, after fixing a complimentary cup of tea and hot coco. Then room 1001, was perfect. Quiet. The only thing we did not realize it would not have is a mini fridge. No problem, Ice and ziploc bags worked fine to keep our bagels and cream cheese cool for breakfast on our early morning flight. Sleep: Being oh so close to LGA, you would think you would hear the planes as they are landing - we heard nothing and had a amazing nights rest. That doesn't happen often enough when traveling, especially since I am an extremely light sleeper. Breakfast: We did not partake of their grab n go breakfast - not even sure where it was located as we literally rolled out of bed, washed, dressed and hit the shuttle to the airport! Coffee was available to go. 6am shuttle was right on time. The front desk suggested we arrive 5 minutes early, which we did as the shuttle will leave promptly at 6am and every 20 minutes thereafter. We were dropped at our terminal within 5 minutes. Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend it. I only wish I knew the front desk person who checked us in, he was wonderful and made my day when we thanked me for being "diamond" with Hilton. That recognition with a smile was most appreciated. 100% would stay here again.

The hotel was immaculately kept up and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the little outdoor patio near the breakfast area.The hot breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable with multiple pillows of different fill to pick from. Plenty of towels in the room for our two night stay.

When Delta cancelled our flight at the last minute, we found this hotel. Convenient- very good breakfast-rooms etc; our only complaint is that they do not have a restaurant on site but there was an excellent place next door and a few delivery outfits, so all was well.

This hotel is very close to the airport we were able to take our vehicle back that evening to budget and their shuttle came and picked us up. In the morning the shuttle was at the door it usually runs every 20 minutes and it dropped us off right where we needed to be at LaGuardia airport. The staff was friendly our room was adequate and we were able to order in from a local restaurant. Beds were super comfortable. This hotel has two elevators that are very quick.

Stayed here two nights and the location is perfect if you are going to Citifield. We also had a beautiful view of Manhattan from the 10th floor. The two issues we had were that there was no mini fridge in the room, and there was only cold/lukewarm water in the shower. We always stay at the Hampton because of the quality and value, and this location doesn’t quite meet those standards. With all the reviews about no hot water in the shower, this really should be corrected.

Beds are doubles not queens as advertised, and horrible to sleep on. A/C is hard to regulate. Room were not very clean. But location is directly across from LGA terminals, which can't be beat. Staff all very good.

This hotel is located very close to the airport and provides a shuttle to and from the airport. After arriving in NY, we did have to wait approximately 25 minutes after calling the hotel for shuttle pickup. We noticed that the Marriott (located close to the Hampton Inn) sent a number of shuttles seemingly continuously while we waited for our one Hampton Inn shuttle. The ride to the hotel was short. When we departed the hotel for our return trip home, we left at around 4:30am. The shuttle was there and got us to the airport quickly. The hotel employees were friendly and seemed a bit overworked. The room was basic, but clean. This hotel does not have a restaurant, but the Marriott across the street does. The hotel next door (LaGuardia Plaza?) also has a restaurant. Our biggest issue, and it is a big one, is that we had NO HOT WATER. I had read two reviews that mentioned this, but I thought it was a temporary issue. We were shocked to find only cold water in both the sink and the shower. We were there for a funeral, so this was unnecessary stress. When I called to speak to the front desk the next day we were told to run the sink and the shower at the same time and the water should get hot - IT DID NOT. I was told that they had someone on staff that could look at it. This was unacceptable to us because we did not want anyone in the room while we were not there and also because it was apparent that they were aware of this MAJOR ISSUE at their hotel. This also means that the person cleaning the room was also using cold water to do so - not a good practice. I do not blame the front desk per se, but the Hampton Inn brand. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are a popular and trusted choice for many travelers, so this is blatantly irresponsible. I did receive a portion taken off my bill, but that is irrelevant. The hotel is fully aware of this situation. Travelers beware. I would have given a higher rating if not for this water issue.
