Having stayed in Marriott hotels throughout the world this one is a gem. Set in a quiet location it is ideal for a base to explore the local area and further afield. The hotel hasn’t been open long but the staff are magnificent making you feel at home. The public areas are well set out and the bedrooms are of a very high standard. We will definitely return to enjoy this great hotel once again

The rather desolate surroundings resemble those of the airpotrt hotels at Denver, except for a green, rather than sandy, landscape. The roads have no pavements, with grass verges unneccessarily fenced off.It is possible to walk to a nice wood by braving traffic, but otherwise there is little pleasant in the locality. The spectacularly ugly building is not well suited to the present situation. All doors and windows are sealed. The rooms have a working bathroom extractor vent,so air must be drawn in from the corridor under the room door- not desirable. There is the usual type of self contained aircon- not ventilation. There was an appearance of cleanliness, but it was not indicated how long rooms had been left vacant after the previous occupant or chambermaid. It was possible to eat outdoors at dinner, but this was not offered at breakfast. An infirmation sheet on Covid policies was provided. Otherwise we have an entirely standard airport hotel building.A smallish room had good fitted furniture and lighting, one very uncomfortable desk chair, and horrible soft, hot, beds..It was possible to correct this by removing the foam mattresss topper and the ridiculous thick duvet padding. The bathroom was deficient in various ways- no bath,no toilet brush,no proper door. The staff were better than the building.I was well served outdoors at dinner- only a very basic menu but decent quality.A good fried breakfast was available and a standard small buffet. There is a car parking charge for all guests.

We enjoyed a family stay at the Courtyard Marriot Inverness Ariport for a few days at the end the end of May. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was well organised with a good range of choices, and staff were friendly and helpful. However we were dissappointed that not one member of staff on check-in mentioned that there was a fee for parking, or even asked if we had arrived by car. We have now had to pay a £100 fine. The hotel presumeably knows that a fine is issued if guests do not register their cars at reception, so mentioning this on arriavl would be a reasonable expectation.

Dear Laura G, Many thanks for taking the time to post a review following your recent stay with us here at the Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport. I would like to reiterate the apology that you received today on the phone from Ina Davies, General Manager. There are several signs around the carpark and at reception but our front desk team should have asked if you had a car and reminded you to input your registration to avoid any parking charges and for that we are truly sorry. Please get back in touch with Ina when you would like to organise a return visit to the hotel, as discussed with you today. We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the not too distant future. Kind regards Team Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Inverness Airport for a one night stay. I had been keen to try out the hotel since seeing seeing it open earlier in the year. Having not travelled from the airport this year I decided just to stay at the hotel. It was during Tier1 so onvernight stays were permitted at that time. The hotel is bright and airy with a pleasant lounge, bar, restaurant area on the ground floor. There was dinner available (required prebooking) and breakfast too. The space is also suitable for working in with a couple of nice tables that could double as desks. The welcome was very warm and it felt very safe as the hotel was exceptionally clean. There was hand sanitiser at various points around the hotel and the room was spotless. The room had a great view of the runway and it was great to see a flight land and one take off. There were tea and coffee facilities, a work desk, a small table and stool and a large TV. The bathroom had a walk in shower which was nice to use. The breakfast was a buffet but everything, including slices of bread for the toaster, was individually wrapped. It was a very pleasant stay and I look forward to returning to this hotel again, definitely a great option if you are travelling on an early flight. It is less than 5 minutes flat and level walk from the front door of the hotel to the airport terminal building.
