The home is immaculate and full of charm. The hosts (Greg and Lilly) are very accommodating and serve a most delicious breakfast. This B&B is in a great location for many interests (boating, racing, scenic, micro-brewing and a lot of wineries). We were happy to meet their dog, Lola.
We visited for the first time for two nights. Greg and Lilly are doing a wonderful job as new owners of this beautiful property. We have stayed at many B&Bs and this one is at the top of the list for all around hospitality. The breakfast were very special. A great hangout for visiting the Finger Lakes region and the wineries in the area.
This was our third visit to this lovely B & B in the heart of the Finger Lakes. It provides a warm and inviting view into the past but with all the modern amenities. The guest rooms are comfortable and each is uniquely decorated. The main floor living spaces are spacious as is the wrap around porch. Parking is plentiful behind the house. Breakfast is delicious and both Lilly and Greg put heart and soul into their creations. This would be a great spot for a small wedding or small family reunion (I believe there are 5 guest rooms).
We stayed at the 1897 Beekman House for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The room was clean and comfortable. Greg and Lilly were excellent hosts, providing lots of recommendations and helping us arrange transportation. The gourmet breakfasts were fantastic and worth coming back for.
The exterior gave no hint of the impressive interior waiting for me. Beautiful wood, trim, doors, staircase, bookcases, floors and paneling through out the house. Elegant furniture and high ceilings made the house even more impressive. There are several common areas to relax in plus an outside garden area to sit in. Greg and Lilly are wonderful hosts making me feel very comfortable in their home. The best was yet to come. Breakfast. My breakfast started with moist flavorful home made blueberry muffins. Followed with a perfectly arrange small dish of fresh fruit. Then came homemade sesame seed bagel with cream cheese and lox with chives on top, there was also spring lettuce with a light delightfull dressing on the plate. Absolutely delicious! This was one of the best if not the best breakfast I have ever had. Next time I return to the Finger Lakes, Beekman House will be where I want to stay.…
