The innkeeper was very friendly, and the B & B was inviting. We enjoyed our stay. It was a bit off-putting that the innkeeper disclosed she was leaving/closing this September. Also, it would've been nice to have a 'window' of time for breakfast to be available, instead of being told it's at 8:30 period. For early birds, it meant we...

We stayed here because the hotels in Ithaca were sold out, and it was suggested by a friend who had the same situation last year. The drive to Cornell was not nearly as bad as expected, so we had no regrets about the location. The house is truly charming and nicely decorated- there is a personal feel that the owner...

My husband and I stayed at the Turret house in August 2014 and had such a lovely time. When we woke up we both had the same comment that it felt like home. The innkeeper is very nice and prepared a delicious breakfast. We had a suite. The place is very clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here...

Great location for visiting the Finger Lakes region. Off main street and thus quiet. Very clean and beautifully furnished with antique furniture that has been finished beautifully. Very friendly owner, Nancy, who has a lot of great information about places to visit in the area. Beautiful area outside the hustle bustle of the touristic Finger Lakes region. Dryden is a...

Our recent stay makes me wonder if the previous people who gave this 4-5 stars have ever stayed in a B/B before. Having stayed in many B/B, I was very let down at this one. There are many others in the area for comparable price that put more effort into it. Okay the pros: extremely quiet at night, clean, Nancy...

Before taking these comments seriously, please read her other nasty reviews. She seems to take pleasure in ripping establishments apart. I am very accommodating to my guests and have had very positive reviews. This is a beautiful house and I am sorry that my decor is not to her liking. It is quiet, clean and comfortable here, with a fabulous...

I was lucky enough to get a room here last minute. The inn keeper was very accomodating! I loved the porch at the house. It was nice to come back home after dinner and relax on the porch for a while. Trying to find a room in or near Ithaca in the summer is nearly impossible if you don't book...

We were in Ithaca for an extended stay and chose to stay at the Turrett house for 6 days in Dryden, a short distance from Ithaca. It was a great experience. Nancy, the host and owner, was gracious and provided us with a warm welcome and delicious breakfasts. The place is very clean and well kept, and the rooms are...

Our hosttess was delightful. A person you want to meet. The main room was massive, and bed very comfortable. The closed off alcove allowed our grown daughter to stay with us at the last minute. Our host accommodated our eating preferences for breakfast with new and old recipes... all delicious. The location was perfect for our visit to Cornell and...

We had planned on staying in different B&B in town, but had to relocate due to cats on and under our bed. We ended up at The Turret House and it was such a nice surprise. Extremely clean in all areas, tasteful decoration, great homemade, healthy breakfast and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Stay here if you're in...

From the welcome on the delightful porch to the departure after a wonderful breakfast, The Turret House is a welcome break from bland corporate hospitality. Nancy is a consummate host with endless anecdotes to regale. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and well appointed. Really cannot find fault.

“If you want a private bath I believe you need to get the Suite, but you will still have to walk through the adjoining room in the suite (or the hallway) to get to the bathroom. However, the French door to the other adjacent room provides very little "audible privacy".”

“If you need to have a private bathroom the Grand Suite is the room to choose, worth the extra money. The suite is huge, two rooms that can accommodate easily 4 people. The bathroom is nicely done. If you need to have bed sheets and towels changed you need to request this service.”
