I live close by so it is very convenient for me to stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Maria is a master in the kitchen and be sure to sample her pies and cinnamon rolls! Out of this world!!! Carl loves to entertain and the music takes me back to special times. Don't be in a hurry though as...

This is a typical small, one owner motel that provides the basic needs at a very reasonable price. Friendly owners, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Well worth a stay if you are in the area. And do not miss a meal at the snack bar. GREAT homemade food, cooked to order. Homemade bread for toast with your omelette is well worth...

This was our first visit after the new owners took over. I doubt we'll be back. I emailed the motel to see if a particular room was available and was told yes and that, to make a reservation, I had to phone them. I twice gave them MY toll-free number to call me and they never did. I explained in...

If you are looking for a Marriott, you won't find it here. What you will find is people that work hard to make your stay comfortable. The motel is easy check in and check out. The best part is the diner! Their grill is magic! Carl and Marie are "make you feel at home" hosts. I can't wait to stay...

It is tough finding anywhere to stay in much of the Adirondacks lately but new owners have provided a comfortable, clean room , good food bkfast lunch and dinner, and friendly atmosphere. Locals hang out is always a good sign

Actually it is the ONLY restaurant in town since Cranberry Lake Lodge closed. It is always crowded in a semi-funky no frills atmosphere, but the food is fantastic and plentiful. breakfast is a highlight. Worth the stop!

We stayed at the motel and had a wonderful stay, the motel was 70's but was clean and had a cool retro-feel. The food was amazing too, owned and operated by a very kind, hard working couple we met at their other, restaurant/motel The Pine Cone Grill located in Wanakena, NY in which we ate and slept the night before....

We've been camping at the state campground at Cranberry Lake for years and have been to the ice cream stand but never stayed in the motel. To be honest, the motel isn't much to look at but looks can be deceiving. The week of camping was hell... lots of rain, two trips to a laundromat to dry sheets, etc. The...

We stopped by this motel to break our drive to Lake Placid. We should have driven straight through. First of all, we called to confirm the reservation and the woman told us the door to our room would be open and the key will be on the table. That should have flagged trouble. When we arrived, the diner affiliated to...

Small motel with 8 rooms. We had two on the end with the rest of our family. Quiet, clean. refrig, TV, everything we needed. Small diner is part of the establishment and we had a great breakfast. Ice Cream the night before was a bonus. We felt very at home and owners were super. It is not fancy but this...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled on the northern edge of Cranberry Lake, we're right on the snowmobile trail system (Trail C8 to S89)! Cranberry is the third largest lake in the Adirondacks with oodles of places to explore! Stone Manor Motel & Diner starts serving coffee at 5:30am 7 days a week! Our room rates and diner menu are affordable... the home-made hash, maple glazed cinnamon buns, sausage biscuits and gravy, burgers, Friday fish dinners, soups and sandwiches, BBQ dinners and fresh coffee are all favorites! Cranberry Lake is the place to go when you want to get back to nature... there aren't any theme parks or malls - it's all about the fishing, hiking, boating, camping, hunting, snowmobiling and skiing. An abundance of trails allow for great photography too! However, it's not so remote that you won't enjoy fine dining and good company - worth the visit any time of year! ... more   less
