This hotel is not the Marriott, but it is walking distance to Cortland's downtown area which includes shops, restaurants, and a great nightlife. Book in advance for the best rates. Complimentary continental breakfast from 630 to 930 serving bagels toast fruit and coffee.

On Thursday October 6th 2016 my boyfriend and I traveled 5 hours for a wedding and had plans to stay at the Econo Lodge in Cortland, NY. We made reservations on April 3rd 2016 to assure that we would have the room we desired. I called the hotel directly and spoke to the owner, I asked for 1 king room,... More

Stayed for three nights while in the area. Price was at least half of others in the area. When you drive up the area and exterior can be off putting but honestly we had no problems. Room was basic and dated but clean , had new carpet, and no bad smells. Spoke with both owners and they were lovely. By... More

It was a what you would expect from an Econo Lodge. We were driving through and needed a place for one night. It was clean and everything worked fine. There is a frig and microwave. Free WiFi. It was a good location for us and one of the lower prices. Friendly check in. Would stay again if I was driving... More

I got this room last minute for a reunion that was a town over, because I wanted to be close to downtown Cortland. While the room was spacious, it's in desperate need of some updating. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room that was probably a good 20 years old. I didn't' even want to touch the... More

For just over $40 / pp for one night, this hotel is good value for the price. Furnishings a tad dated, however the room and bathroom are clean and tidy. A short and convenient distance from the highway. Friendly night manager.

Room was clean and fresh. They upgraded to king size bed for no charge. Quiet building, close to restaurants. Would be nice to add a few more items to continental breakfast. Short distance from highway with easy return.

He gave me a space heater! It didn't help at all. I... More

The hotel is in a nice little area of Cortland. The room was clean, though dated, but about what you would expect from an Econolodge. However, we paid over $100 a night for what I felt was more of a $50-60 room. It was also fairly noisy outside. When we arrived back to the hotel around 11 pm, there was... More
