We originally booked the lake cottage for a weekend in June to check out the area but something came up and we needed to reschedule. The staff was very understanding and we were able to rebook for a weekend in July. The lake cottage was absolutely perfect! So spacious and with very nice finishes. We had a BBQ grill on the site as well as a fire pit and plenty of cozy seating right by the lake. The goody bag with the fixings for morning coffee and the stuff to make s'mores was a great touch. It was definitely a bonus to have a full kitchen and bathroom. There were so many activities for the kids and adults. We'll definitely be booking again next year for a full week.

We had the best time ever. The people that run the place were helpful and friendly. Every activity is included in the price. Very well run and all the other campers were very friendly. Would definitely recomend this place to any one looking to camp on the area.

The cabin was so nice. It was clean convenient. The cabin had a picnic table fire pit. The little lites gave it a nice ambiance. The staff was so kind and helpful. Grrrreat location for kids!!! Beautiful camp grounds. Play gound has so much for the kids to do. The lake is great and lots of toys for the kiddos.

I don’t believe this campground wants business from people like us that are passing through this area on a short term basis. I would venture that 90% of the slots are full time residents and the slots for short term campers were unshaded and without personality. They even refer to us as transient, which sounds so derogatory.

The facilities such as bathrooms and shower houses were adequate but underwhelming. They have lots of activities such as swim beach, bounce pillows, etc that were closed more than open. This place does like to post/spout rules and regulations!

The whole experience started off badly when we arrived and we were greeted poorly and without any warmth. It felt to us we were a pain and a bother. Then some full time residents decided they should cuss and yell at us for driving what they considered too fast (yes, we were going 7 mph in a 5 mph zone).

If there had been another alternative close by and we could get a full refund, we would have left. We certainly will never return.

My family was interested in renting a peddle boat and was given no rules or regulations at the time of rental. The staff was negligent as to ask how many people would be using the boat. Apparently we were over the weight limit with our two toddlers. Another staff member met us down by the lake and handed us our life jackets and helped us into the boat. Again, nothing was said. We made it about 20 feet and the boat began to sank. The staff member assisted in getting us to safety, as our children were shaken up and soaking wet. We went to the office to try to get a refund, as we were only out on the boat for ten minutes and had paid for an hour. The staff member down by the lake also did not offer us another boat with fewer people this time either. He just walked away from us. When my husband and I walked into the office we overheard three staff members gossiping about what had happened in an unpleasant tone. I asked them if they were talking about us and that we would like a refund and all three staff members began yelling at us. They told us it was common sense that we had too much weight on the boat and so on. We never got an apology and were not allowed a refund because it was our fault. I have never been spoken to so rudely and would never dream of doing so myself, as I have been in customer service for ten years. They didn't care they were losing customers as we told them we would not be back. Nothing was made right about this situation, instead we were humiliated and talked down to. Aside from this horrible experience, they were selling wet wood that wouldn't burn and the bathrooms were disgusting. If they consider themselves a family campground then they need to hire friendlier people and treat their guests with respect!

Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. First and foremost we’d like to apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused as well as any miscommunication from our staff. Our guest’s safety and enjoyment of our campground is very important to us. Although we try to make our rules and regulations of campground activities clear through our waivers and signage, we will work harder to ensure a more adequate process be implemented to provide an excellent experience for everyone.

The new managers are really pro-active! The new staff members are really trying to get this place back to it's heyday!
The activities were awesome, with a nice mix of sports and arts and crafts.
Good place for families!

We stayed at Camp Waubeeka for one night last summer. The campsite was fine, but the nearest bathrooms were not. They were outhouses that had no light, paper, and were not cleaned. They should be taken off the campground map and closed. The worst part has been the incessant phone calls I have received encouraging me to come back. I have asked several times to be removed from the list but the calls continue. DO NOT give them your phone number.

We stayed from Friday - Monday. As soon as we pulled in it was like a sausage factory. Campsites are right on top of each other. Ours was in an open field. No shade. Thank goodness we didn't get the ones that are on complete gravel (no shade) and off a black top road= hot as hell! This place caters to their seasonals. If you're a seasonal then the rules don't apply to you. For starters, quiet time is a joke bc there is NO quiet time. 2AM and the loud screams, music, golf carts, you name it! My 16 year old son was scolded by a camp staffer bc he was riding a bike without a helmut...ok that's fine if that's your rule but we spent the rest of the weekend watching seasonal kids zoom past our site without one. When I approached the staffer who had just reprimanded my son and asked why he didn't say anything to the girls that rode by he ignored me and drove away on his golf cart. All weekend long the seasonal site across from us was using a chain saw....for what, I don't know. 8 AM in the morning! We had some jerk ride his golf cart through our campsite completely drunk - which by the way is another rule that the seasonals don't follow. At 10AM Saturday morning there were numerous seasonals out for a ride in their golf carts with beers in their hands - same people still riding around around at 10PM anebriated. Such a joke bc one of the rules clearly states "open containers are not allowed in ANY vehicle." AND "driving any vehicle while intoxicated will result in eviction." The lake, if you even want to call it that is beyond gross. They have a very small beach area/water inflatable playground. Geese love it there. Geese poop and feathers all over the water. Took our dog to the Dog Park (very cute) but when we approached the sally port he (another seasonal) told us his dog is not friendly around other dogs as a warning to us. Well why the hell do you have him in a freaking dog park?!!! Needless to say we will not go back here. Not a fan of being treated like crap by staff and the seasonals there.

My family recently became seasonals at Camp Waubeeka. The managers Rich and Kim are awesome. The park is clean, spacious, and beautiful. Their is always great entertainment on Saturday nights. The two (2) lakes are alot of fun. One is used for fishing and boating, while the other one is used as a swimming area with white sand. We were hesitant coming here because of the negative remarks we heard, but are pleasantly surprised by our experience thus far. My whole family has been accepted with open arms, even my special needs child, who wasnt accepted at another campground. Keep up the good work Rich and Kim.

Morgan Management placed this Camp on Priceline as a cottage with full kitchen. Priceline documented its acceptance of our reservation. The Camp did not have that record. We had no reservation, but the staff helped us find nearby accommodations. The Camp looks to be a pleasant facility for RV's and those who enjoy rustic cabins.
