Hotel's Favorite
Just spent a lovely two night stay at the Inn at Cooperstown. We spotted it when we were here two years ago and knew then we wanted to give it a try. It didn't disappoint. The staff was courteous and friendly. The room, while not huge, was well appointed with a super comfy king sized bed and the linens lulled us to sleep. Breakfast was very good - nothing terribly original - but plentiful and tasty. Our favorite part was the front porch. I could sit there all day with a book and a drink- rocking away and people watching. The Inn is 29 steps from Main St and couldn't be better located. 5 min walk to Hall of Fame and 10 min drive to Glimmerglass Festival. It was just great

We had a wonderful one-night’s stay at the Inn at Cooperstown! The protocols they have taken during COVID19 are outstanding; we felt safe and comfortable, while feeling as close to normal as we have in a long time. The bike clubhouse was an added bonus, and we enjoyed talking with the proprietors about where to ride bikes. Enjoyed beer and wine (that we brought with us) on the front porch at happy hour. We ordered takeout for our dinner, and the Inn staff cheerfully set up place settings with real plates, silverware, and wine glasses for us. The bed was comfortable and the shower strong. A beautiful venue!

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Inn at Cooperstown in July! Everything is kept very clean and even the rocking chairs on the beautiful front porch are socially distanced. Don't hesitate to go during this time. Cooperstown's foot traffic is light but the restaurants, shops and the museum are more than ready to accommodate you. Such a beautiful area! Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

We were looking for a pleasant place to spend 2 nights in Cooperstown while we toured the Baseball HOF. We wanted a place that was conveniently located to the downtown area, and a place we could come back to during the afternoon and evening to relax. We were at the Inn for two nights in late September, and we were in a "classic" room on the third floor with a queen and a single for 3 people. The room was a little smaller than I had imagined with only one chair. On the other hand, the first floor parlor area (actually 2 connected rooms) was a very nice place to park ourselves from 8 to 10 pm both nights we were there. Despite the fact that the parking lot appeared nearly filled to capacity, we had the rooms to ourselves both nights. My wife and I were able to do a little computer work and our son watched TV. Even if there had been someone in the parlor area, we could have used the dining tables to work on the computers. There was a sophisticated Keurig type coffee/tea maker in the parlor. The stairs are narrow and would be difficult to negotiate with a large suitcase, but I was able to get our carryon suitcases up the stairs without a problem (I am 71 years old). The heater worked well, there was plenty of hot water, the bathroom was large with nice towels, the beds were comfortable, and we noticed very little room noise. We felt no drafts even though the building was originally constructed in the 1870's. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was good with excellent muffins, a fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast, juice, and frittatas. We will stay there the next time we are in Cooperstown.

If I could award 6 stars, I would! My wife and I visited The Inn at Cooperstown for their Bed & Brew Weekend package over Valentine's Day weekend along with 6 other friends (and it was also my wife's Birthday on Saturday). Sherrie, Marc and their wonderful staff (Ryan and Vicky) took care of our every need, and by every need I mean going above and beyond to help me surprise my wife. In speaking with Sherrie the day before arrival, I sought her help on flowers for Valentine's and Balloons and Cake for Saturday's Birthday surprise. Without skipping a beat, she directed me to Mohican Flowers and Schneider's Bakery to see if they could help pull it off on short notice. Sherrie and her staff then handled taking delivery of all items, having the flowers in our room upon arrival, the balloons at our beer dinner at Brewery Ommegang and the cake ready in the parlor upon returning from the dinner. Everything went off without a hitch!
As to the Bed & Brew package, it was amazing! The weekend was sold out and filled with wonderful, beer loving people. The Friday night bottle share was loaded with tons of great beers that was consumed in our souvenir Ommegang glasses. The discount coupons to Council Rock Brewery were put to good use on Saturday. The private VIP tour and beer dinner at Ommegang was like nothing I've ever experienced (and I've been to a lot of breweries and beer dinners), and the swag was off the charts too (custom growler filled with whatever Ommegang beer on draft that we wanted, clothing from the brewery's store and more glassware). We almost didn't have enough room in our vehicle to bring everything back home!
The location of The Inn is perfect. The rooms were not lacking a thing. The breakfast was tasty. And an unbelieveable time was had by all!
Thanks again for a memorable trip, Sherrie, Marc and staff!

The bed and brew was 100% worth it! When we arrived at The Inn we were greeted by Sherrie and she gave us the whole scoop of our stay and recommend some local hit spots. She even walked us up to our room. We went out to grab dinner and let Sherrie know we would be back and that it was a special occasion and that we brought some wine. There was private space to eat (COVID friendly) and when we came back she had set up a beautiful setting for us and had our wine poured. We enjoyed food from Nicolettas around the corner and the warm ambiance she had set up. The next day was brewery day and we met Marc who was gathering guests that were also going and making conversation with everyone. We had a bus to take us to Ommegang and back. Ommegang welcomed our bus group with open arms! (we had the huge brewery to ourselves!) Marc and Sherrie and the incredible team at Ommegang went above and beyond to make everyone welcome, including making absolutely sure my food was gluten free (celiac) and that their delicious cider was continuously pouring into my glass. We thought the experience was spectacular and are convincing friends to come next time we go.

Thank you for the fun Ommegang Brewery tasting and dinner. All precautions to keep guests safe were taken.
The bike "room" was perfect as well as suggestions for bike routes. Being able to buy road tires from Marc for my bike was an added bonus. Definitely a place we will return to if we are in the area.

My husband and I can not say enough about The Inn at Cooperstown! The hosts were very welcoming and personable and made everyone feel very welcome. The rooms were warm and cozy and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. A MUST visit! The Bed and Brew package was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed.

If you need to get away and you're hesitant about traveling because of Covid-19, you should seriously consider a visit to the Inn at Cooperstown. The Inn is pristine and immaculately maintained and we felt very safe and comfortable there. There are many safety protocols related to preventing Covid-19. The Innkeepers, Marc & Sherrie went out of their way to make us feel comfortable being away from home. After spending several weeks sequestered in our homes it felt so good to have a change of scenery in such a beautiful and historic inn where we felt safe. Cooperstown is a great place to do many outdoor activities like biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, geocaching, golfing etc. and they have a very nice Farmer's Market and an excellent brewery, Ommegang. When we were there the restaurants were open only for pick up but since that time they are now open and many of them have outdoor seating. And I'm told that in the very near future the museums will be opening. This couldn't be a better time to visit the Inn at Cooperstown.

We had a fantastic experience at the Inn at Cooperstown! Breakfast was great and the staff was fantastic. The location is just a few short blocks from the BB Hall of Fame, but was very quiet and peaceful. One of my favorite morning rituals was to sip coffee in a rocking chair on the front porch and watch the town wake up. We had our bicycles with us, and the "bike club" storage room was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Absolutely!!!
I cannot find times check-in and check-out. I will be coming in on Friday and leaving Sunday. Thanks
My recollection is check-in occurs any time after 3 pm. Check-out is around 11 AM, but if you need a few minutes extra time, they're very nice about it.
The Brewery is 6.6 miles from The Inn at Cooperstown. It is an easy drive that will take about 12-15 minutes.
We are taking reservations though our rates are not finalized yet. Rates will be slightly higher than this past summer. Give us a call at 607-547-5756. Thanks and Happy Labor Day!
Tripadvisor: This question is directed to the innkeepers, not to someone who simply stayed at the Inn for a few days. Please properly route this message to them...thanks!
