Whisperin' Pines was perfect for our summer visit to Cooperstown: close enough (10 minutes) to town, yet away from the crowds. Erin and Chris are accommodating and know a lot about (and seem to know everyone in) the area. We would recommend for anyone visiting Cooperstown.

I actually stayed in the apartment next to the B&B for July and Aug. Wonderful people who run it and beautiful surroundings. Easy to get to everything (hall of fame, dreams field park). Close to town and the lake.

The B&B we had enjoyed last year was no longer in business, so my sister found this place in a Google search. The location was very convenient to Cooperstown, as well as to Glimmerglass, where we had tickets for the opera. The first indication that this location could not be given an "excellent" or even "very good" rating was the... More

We stayed for one night in this unconventional B&B and liked it very much. It's a little bit away from the town, quiet and peaceful. Our room was large and cozy with a shared balcony. Clean. Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfast. Many restaurants only five minutes away.

I couldn't ask for more accommodating hosts....Chris and Erin go above and beyond to make their guests happy. My Father and I have gone for the past 5 years in a row, every summer, to visit Cooperstown. My Father has been staying with Chris and Erin for even longer than I have. Huge, clean rooms with entrances from inside the... More

Each suite at Whispering' Pines Chalet is unique and loaded with little extras. We enjoyed our second stay there this weekend and our room had a large living room with fireplace, private outdoor space and windows that opened on to a lovely stream behind the chalet. Erin and Chris the innkeepers are warm, accommodating and very service oriented. Breakfast was... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, and were happy with our stay. The hosts were friendly and warm, and Erin was great to talk to over breakfast. The room we chose was spacious and comfortable, though the furnishings were a bit eclectic and vintage. Breakfast was delicious both days, and we had a peaceful sleep. Our room... More

This hideaway in the woods was just what we had hoped for and more. The hospitality was first class, made us both feel like we were with family. If you get an opportunity, don't let this B&B pass you by. You owe it to yourself to stop. We certainly will again.

Erin and Chris were the perfect hosts and really take care of their guests - Breakfast is delicious! We had a wonderful room right over the babbling brook that was spacious and cozy at the same time. If you are looking to visit Cooperstown but want a more rural location Whisperin Pines is it!

We stopped here for one night and went to see the Baseball Hall of Fame. This is a very cute hideaway in the woods. The room was full of collectibles (I’d hate to be in charge of dusting everything!) and very spacious. The bathroom was modernized, and the bedding VERY comfortable. Importantly, we haven’t enjoyed such a quiet night’s sleep... More
