We are leaving a negative comment because, after many attempts to contact Lew to make reservations through every way possible over the course of a week, we had to alter our trip and make different arrangements as we never heard back from him or anyone in their office. We left messages on several different phones that are listed on their website, and also emailed them and contacted them through their website. All to no avail, as they never returned any of our calls. Very poor business practices.

This was a great campground with a great staff. They were very polite and helpful throughout the entire stay. They have plenty of space available and each campsite comes with a nice fire pit and cooking great. They also have nice benches at each site. It is very quiet and secluded with a beautiful view of nature. They are extremely military friendly and offer great deals to active duty military. It is extremely close to Cooperstown and all that they offer. The only downside or bad thing I can even think of is the bathrooms. This is only because I am trying to find something negative to say. They are great for camping standards but could be a little cleaner and more lite up for the safety of campers.

Thank you for your very friendly service. Your camping ground will be amazing once all the renovations are done. Too bad we went at a time when the town is not too busy. We will see you again soon. Suzie

The owners went out of there way to accommodate us during a very busy weekend. Very nice facility and close to Cooperstown- baseball hall of fame. We stopped in on a whim only to realize it was induction weekend for the hall of fame and the owners were kind enough to fill us in on the activities going on around town, recommend good eating spots as well as finding a spot for our camper 😄

Well to start off , it was induction weekend and very busy for the area including this campground . We made our reservations back in January and asked for 5 sites together with electric and water . Only 2 out of the 5 sites had working electric boxes. Even though we all paid for sites with electric . The website states that there is free wifi, fitness center and rec center. Well the wifi was nonexistent as well as the fitness center. The rec center had air hockey table and video games that didn't work. These were located in the cafe, which took almost an hour and a half to get a pizza and some wings . Even though we were the only customers in the place. The bathrooms and showers were not kept clean . The showers would flood every time . The pool looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile and every time we walked past it the filter was not working . Overall this place was disappointing and the website is misleading . The only plus... They could really care less what you do while your there . One last thing there was only 1 fire ring for 5 sites and the manger said we were "lucky" we got that . In spite of the disastrous campgrounds our family had a great time anyway
