They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And , that pictures can be deceptive if they shw only what is desired to be seen. This "Inn" really lacks its quaintness. Does it have a beautiful view of the lake? Yes. Is it quiet and serene? yes However the impression you get from the pictures is there is easy access to what appears to be a private beach right along the lakefront. Not so, unless you find it ok to have to walk down an road across a highway and then down a very steep and unattended ( if we are talking about "INN" quality) staircase to a very small piece of land jutting out into the lake...no " beach" per se....moreover for the price I paid (over 250 per night) I would hope to have a breakfast with fresh products like real maple syrup...come on! The bedroom I was given was never inspected before i arrived because of the following: I also had to re-secure the handle to the toilet bowl everytime I used it. I also could NOT use the air conditioner since it blew directly onto your face in the room I was in so I had to turn it off and open the windows.. I could only open 2 out of the several in the room because they had holes in them. The two windows I could open I had to clean myself with cleaning spray and paper towels I have come to bring with me whenever I travel during this viral epidemic. There was months of dirt on both the window glasss ( which I refused to clean! ) and the screens because you could not see out of them! And I had to clean them off since the dirt from the screens would blow into the room whenever a welcome breeze came along. Did I mention the unsecured window shutter that would slam against the window during the night ? All of these thing should could have been inspected before my arrival.. small annoyances that any hospitality property owner would look over before renting a room. And all of these small annoyances is what makes this 'INN" false advertising. If I paid $100.00 per night for this place I might say to myself: "What do you expect?" But the price I paid should have included meals thoughtfully prepared and with freshly made ingredients and a room that was clean and well inspected before my arrival. And by the way, where is the "chef' they claim to have..? No where in sight, especially in the kitchen. be

I read about how the owner was a chef and loved to create wonderful meals. Breakfast was included but this was not good or high quality. It consisted of frozen waffles, eggs (not good) and breakfast meat. For the price, I expected more and perhaps fresh oatmeal not from a packet. We don't eat meat.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience here. My fiancé and I booked a night in the deck sweet because we were taking a fall foliage train ride in the morning. The suite is awesome and the view is spectacular of the lake and fall foliage. We had plenty of room and you could definitely fit a few kids in here as well or another couple. The suite was very clean and cozy Genevieve was absolutely the best hostess. She and her mother were so accommodating and kind. They actually made me scrambled eggs for breakfast because I don’t eat bread and treated me like family. We will definitely be coming back here with our children to enjoy the summer activities. This place is a gem.

Took a chance reserving a room and am so glad I did. Charming place with cozy rooms. Comfortable bed. Lovely people run it. They make you feel right at home. The views from the patio are spectacular. A full breakfast is included as a bonus. Off the main highway so no noise. Would have given it 5 stars but the towels aren’t quite big enough and no shampoo. Small price to pay for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with lake views! Clean, quiet and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Fabulous porch area with refrigerator to store your food items. Friendly and accommodating owners! Would stay here again! We came here to see Cooperstown and to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. Extremely close to both.
