I have always wanted to bring my wife to Cooperstown, New York to visit the town and see the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Staying at Cobblescote on the Lake allowed us to add another dimension to our stay. The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for, as opposed to staying at one of the chain hotels south of...

Picturesque location, good service, friendly owner, clean room and bath. Not a luxury inn, but very comfortable. Really a B&B. Nice hearty breakfast. Felt like we were in a family summer home. Definitely a repeat visit!

I was late getting our summer vacation plans set -- but that turned out to be a piece of luck! Otherwise I would not have looked further afield and found Cobblescote on the Lake. We booked a cozy room in the main house, which had a second small bedroom with its own door, so our son could go to sleep...

Cobblescote was built in 1912 by Norman Bissell (I think I have the right name/date) as a summer vacation home for his extended family. It has all the characteristics of the summer residence of a wealthy entrepreneur --- solid construction, an idyllic setting, large rooms each with its own character, lots of wood everywhere, warm/gracious feel, splendid views on the...

Crobblescote is a quite, warm, welcoming place, just far enough out of Cooperstown to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the lake. Sitting on the terrace one could almost be in the Italian lakes. The place itself is rustic, charming and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended for someone who wants something more special and characterful than some of the rather soulless...

It is well maintained rustic property on the lake. We stayed for a week with other baseball families as our son's team was playing at Dreams Park. Beautiful porch overlooking the lake was a perfect place to hang out for everyone. Owner, Peter, is very accommodating. Good breakfast. Complimentary kayaks, canoe and fishing gear provided by the owner gives something...

We stayed here with other families from our team as our son played at Dreams Park. This was his second year here playing at Dreams Park and staying at the Cobblescote was definitely better than renting a house the previous year. Peter, the owner, is very accommodating. The place overlooks the lake and is just beautiful. When games were delayed...

I've always wanted to travel to the Baseball HOF, but just never actually took the time to plan a trip. So I finally sat down and planned travel to Cooperstown, NY. I came across this property on several booking sites. As far as the pricing went, It wasn't the cheapest. I am a firm believer that YOU GET WHAT YOU...

Our family of 5 visited Cooperstown because my husband and middle son are baseball fans. We enjoyed staying at Cobblescote. The kids and husband used the canoes and kayaks on the lake a couple of times. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we would have been happy to stay another day or return in the future. If you are traveling...
