This was the most sensational location; just a couple minutes walk from the train station and right in the middle of downtown. The rules clearly state that there is a hefty fine for anyone caught smoking in the rooms, so that was a big relief due to our smoke allergies. Dave was managing the inn during our stay and what... For the second year in a row, my husband and I opted to stay overnight at the Pig Hill Inn when we attended the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival at Boscobel Restoration. For the second year in a row, we were met with the comfort and joy of relaxation and much-needed pampering. Although we were checked in rather hurriedly by Vera,... More

The location of the Pig Hill Inn was great. Went there for 2 nights over an April weekend with my boyfriend. The front desk's attitude left something to be desired, but the breakfasts were large and tasty. They cook to order and you can have breakfast in your room or downstairs. There is coffee, water and a snack available and... More

I can't say enough about this place. They are the consumate hosts, the room was really cozy and romantic, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of eating in the glass sunroom or outside. The staff is absolutely wonderful as was the owner. Highly reccomended.

We just returned from three lovely nights at the Pig Hill Inn and look forward to returning. The many positive reviews accurately describe the beauty and comforts of the rooms and furnishings, the accommodating service, and the excellent breakfasts and afternoon snacks. I appreciated that they were able to take into account of my vegan diet at breakfast.

My wedding was on May 12, 2012 in Garrison, NY, and my now-husband and I, along with most of our wedding party, took over the Pig Hill Inn for the weekend. I could not have been any happier with the property or with the service we received. All of the rooms were comfortable and unique, and the common areas were... More

Pig Hill Inn was a natural choice in Cold Spring, our launching pad for entry to Manhattan. After a peaceful night's rest and elegant breakfast in the greenhouse, we left this friendly and cozy country inn for the morning commute to Grand Central Station. Dave was the perfect host, hospitable and accommodating in countless ways. Leaving our car in safe... More

Second time staying at the Pig Hill Inn, and i must say it keeps getting better. From the cozy rooms (with wood burning stoves), to the decor, to the abundant breakfast, this place is always a winner. This time, as we were staying just one night and it was last minute, they waived the 2 night minimum. Such gracious hosts,... More

We chose Pig Hill Inn for our family get together for its location and charm and were delighted at how helpful Vera and Dave were to ensure that everything went smoothly including allowing us to use the breakfast room for an informal meeting after breakfast. Pig Hill is terrific and part of the appeal is Cold Spring offers so much... More

i've been staying at the pig hill inn for many years because it's close to the hudson valley shakespeare festival and is right in the town of cold spring. unfortuantely, we had to cancel our reservation this year because our friends needed only one night and the management doesn't allow that on weekends. when i called to cancel, the person...
