My boyfriend and I visited Pig Hill in late June and had a great time. Amazing rooms in a great location on the high street, very close to the station (and opposite the best frozen ice-lolly shop in the world). The staff were both friendly and discreet. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, allowing us... More

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. From arrival to departure, this place was great. Dave (owner's assistant?) was very hospitable and friendly. He greeted us upon arrival - check-in was a breeze. He set us up with the only room with the king size bed. Room was cozy and clean. The mattress was a bit soft for our... More

I love that the Metro North stop for Cold Spring is in the middle of their downtown and just blocks away from Pig Hill Inn. It makes for a great car-free getaway. My partner and I stayed here as a summer getaway from New York City. We stayed in the "Danish Blue" room. It was fantastic. The room & bathroom... More

This is one of our favorite vacations. My wife and I went to Cold Spring during Memorial Day weekend and couldn't have found a nicer place to stay. It's right on downtown in the heart of all restaurants, bars and antique shops. It's a 5 min walk to Hudson River with an amazing view of the mountains. Don't miss the... More

After seeing all the good reviews we decided to give the place a try. It was a great decision. Our check-in was between 8-9 PM (yes they allow you to check in this late and even later if you call ahead, which is great) and we got there at almost 9, but the manager was very nice and brought our... It is all the things other reviewers noted-however I would absolutely request that the owners do a bit of an upgrade on the mattresses/bedding and other linens to give it a cleaner feel in addition to being welcoming to people who might have back or hip ailments.

I have been visiting Cold Spring, Ny since I was a teenager, and whenever I would pass this building, with its vine-covered bricks, I felt like I was in another time. Flash forward to March 2014, when my boyfriend booked us the "Victorian Elegance" room for the weekend. It was absolutely perfect! The room was charming, and the wood-burning fire... More

A lovely historic 3-story brick inn in a historic downtown. Rooms are filled with antiques and are all unique and quirky. Location couldn't be more central for shopping, dining and sight-seeing. Breakfasts in the contemporary greenhouse addition are quite good. Owners and staff are very nice, and always around. A living room with fireplace and stuffed furniture, and an adjacent... More

Looking for a place to take some elderly relatives upstate from NYC, we quickly found the highly-rated Pig Hill Inn on Trip Advisor. By chance, two rooms were available (I suspect a cancellation) and we jumped on the chance. The reviews didn't let us down. Pig Hill Inn is a charming, cosy B&B with many original period features, spacious and... More

My husband discovered this inn online and was insistent on staying. It was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful room, great wifi, no TV -which was perfect! Lovely sitting room on the first floor with a glowing fireplace and the breakfast....fabulous. Dave was a delight and an excellent chef with the made to order breakfasts. Cannot wait to return!
