Everything was very clean, sunny and cozy. The staff was really nice and helpful. Great stay. The food was also excellent. The continental breakfast was more than exceptional...fresh fruit, with yogurt and granola wasn't your bland melon, but fresh giant raspberries and blueberries. The hostess/bartender was really nice and we enjoyed spending some time at the bar. Overall, a fantastic...

I loved the location and that you could walk to the train - it was like two blocks! The rooms were lovely, and I had a great read before a restful sleep. The only downside was seeing the results of renovation over the years, although I understand that a limited budget means having to make choices. The staff was excellent...

We chose to stay at Hudson House Inn for a night, to go to the Shakespeare Theater in Garrison. To be honest, choices in the area are limited, and this seemed like the one with the most charm. It was a grand old place in its day, and the wear and tear shows in many nooks and crannies. But it...

We stayed here for one night over the Labour Day weekend. We arrived early and our room was not ready, fair enough. The receptionist took our number and said she would call us if it was ready early, we didn't get a call so went back at 3:00. I fail to understand when check out is at 11:00, why it...

We booked almost a week in advance. Got there and was not given the room we asked for (Queen), instead were given a full sized bed. The A/C is the room barely worked and since the room was on the 3rd floor, it was hot. The bed, RICKETY. The room itself old and just overall yucky. They should be ashamed...

I stayed here a few weekends ago and really loved it! We wanted to stay in Cold Spring as a little getaway from the city while also visiting family in the area. First off, the staff was excellent. We were warmly greeted and shown to our room, with complimentary cookies on the way up! They really have an amazing location...

We were seated at 6pm on saturday. The table we had was unstable (rocky) and tight seating. We had the price fix at $33.00 per person. Portions were small, cod and steak entrees. Young waitress was always in a rush, she had too many tables. We had to ask for water many times. Bus person, just was walking around, not...

We've stayed here twice on anniversaries (Mid-July). Both times in heat waves. They have a package deal which includes room, a drink in their bar, dinner and a full breakfast, plus a discount to the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival up the road. Except for the room and the weather, it's a good deal. The location is wonderful, the food is...

None of the photos on Tripadvisor thus far show just how poorly the management thinks of the guests. Friends reserved a room here for us last weekend, and we (and they) thought it was going to be charming. The inn had charm 200 years ago, but it has been since the 1970s or so since they renovated or upgraded. As...

It was a beautiful day and this beautifully located spot filled our expectations for a lunch by the water. Service was fine, food was fine I would not go out of my way for this restaurant but...I would go out of my way to visit Cold Springs on a lovely day. Overall good experience thanks to the weather.

“We stayed in Room 1 with balcony, and little sitting area, small old fashioned TV, and not much storage space. Room 2 was same but instead of sitting area it had a closet, only an amoire in room 1. Room 2 is connected to suite 3/4, and you can hear everything. We checked out room 6, no balcony but same size room. Would not visit on Tues. Restaurant closed, and town empty. maybe just in winter”
