I thought I already wrote a review, but apparently not. If you need a room with a skyline view, pool, concierge, etc., etc., then don't stay here. If you want a clean, quiet, very affordable, cozy room and a really nice owner then this is the place. Loved the rustic print flannel sheets on a bed made up like a real bed. Northside Rest. just up the road. Good food good price. I'm sure we'll be back.

Step back in time and experience a bit of Americana. We were sure glad that we did. This in has been operating since at least the 1950s. After the first owner passed away, the current owner Kim took it over and updated everything for comfort--new plumbing and electricity--but maintained the retro charm so that you truly feel like you are in an old movie. The rooms were spotless and clean and had little personal touches that make this place special. This is in the center of the cutest small town with the best diner. While other towns in the Finger Lakes have adapted to the tourist trade--Cohocton maintains the feel of yesteryear. If you like cookie cutter hotels with no atmosphere--this is not for you. But if you love a true small town experience, you must stay here. Thank you to Kim for being the hostess with the mostess. She is super attentive to your every need.

We stayed here as a CMA motorcycle group. Rented the whole place! Kim is SUPER! She worked with us throughout everything and made sure we didn't want for anything the whole weekend. She's amazing. It may have been mentioned before me, if you're used to staying at the Holiday Inn with a heated pool then keep looking. CVI is a nice little place, in need of fix-ups (Kim & crew are doing their best), in a small town (1 restaurant, 1 gas station, 1 store), but within easy distance of everything Finger Lakes has to offer. And don't forget the value! We looked as several places to stay and this place beat them all by a country mile. We wish Kim the best and look forward to visiting again.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot. The room itself is very clean and cozy. I do feel like I was staying in a friend's. The environment is also nice. Nice and safe little town and nice tenants. Conveniently located close to many gorgeous NY State Parks. The Inn owner Kim is so considerate! The two beds and the pillows in the room are in different firmness, so I can choose whichever I like! When she tried to answer one of my questions, she texted me instead of calling me because she know I was driving and really cared about my safety. She knows a lot about the nice places around the area. I would definitely stay in the Inn again if I go to Finger Lakes region in the future.

This inn is basic, and the town of Cohocton is quite small, so not for everyone. We had a GREAT experience. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the rooms are incredibly clean. The owner is unbelievably friendly and helpful. She works hard and will bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need. There is lots to do within an easy drive. This is by far the best hotel deal I've ever experienced. The value per dollar is unbeatable.
