Beautifully decorated, very comfortable large street-level suites handy to at least one excellent restaurant (Nola's). These suites are managed by the couple owning the more rural Arbor Inn, closer to Hamilton College, also an outstanding establishment. Which you prefer depends on whether you'd like to be in the countryside, with lovely hilly views, or in an old-fashioned up-state New York town with elegant old houses and mansions all around. The couple owning the Arbor Inn will throw in breakfast there if that's convenient for you, but there are coffee facilities in this suite and hearty breakfast options commercially available only feet away. Not cheap, but well worth the price if you can afford it.

We were on a very long college trip and this turned out to be one of our favorite stops and a true respite!
The spot, while centrally located downtown, is just off a quite side street. This allows you to park the car and walk almost everywhere conveniently. The room has a comforting decor that's not over done yet has all the needed travelers do dads like plugs, kitchenette etc. Lighting is wonderful and the view out the front is quaint. You can sit out front in a rocking chair and read in the shade or go explore the town. Whether it's just one night or a week this lodging is perfect for the trip to the Village of Clinton. We loved it and will be back!

Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy that Williams Street worked well for you and that you enjoyed your time in the Village of Clinton as well. We do hope that if your student chooses Hamilton for college that we will have an opportunity to have you stay with us again either at Williams Street or at Griffin House.

Could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. There were three adults traveling together and this space gave us what we needed. The rooms were as shown in pictures , but even better, in that there was obviously a lot of care given to those little touches that make for a most pleasant and comfortable stay. Great location. Took a leisurely stroll to view the lovely homes in the area and also found several restaurants within easy walking distance. We arrived late on a Sunday and were not able to take in as much as we would have liked , as quite a few places of interest were closed. The town definitely warrants a future visit. The choice of where we would stay is already a given, Williams St Lodging

We have stayed at both guest Suite No. 8 and No. 12 and we love both. The location is great being in the heart of Clinton and in walking distance to some great places to eat and things to do. The decor is beautiful...clean and crisp with some great pops of color. It is very comfortable and has all the amenities that you could ask for. The owners are very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend staying at either of these guest suites. We will be back!
