Had a wonderful stay at the McKinley House in August, Alyse and Steve are wonderful hosts. The room on the first floor has an adjoining bathroom and you have a private deck with nice comfy patio furniture to kick back and enjoy a wine. We stayed only one night and had to leave early the next morning, since we are... More

We only met one of the innkeepers and she was so special and friendly. She has put a lot of love and passion into her guests room. Each room is tastefully decorated, but most importantly, extremely clean! The breakfast was excellent and we were waited on meeting our every need. We will definitely return to this great B&B.

During my first visit to Clayton I spotted the stately McKinley House. I wanted to stay there so came back for a little getaway. A wonderful experience - Alyse is an amazing hostess and guide and interesting person. We stayed in the Grindstone room which is really a suite with two rooms and two beds - unusual for a B&B...
