All the negative reviews are true...wishing had read them before making reservations..but it was a last minute thing. Pillows were flatter than paper..when we asked for extra..we were asked "what for?" Docks are horrible, very unsafe, wabbly and there was a no swimming sign on the beach!! The launch was soo narrow, road to launch was very narrow and the...

We throughly our time at Lanz's motel. The room was clean and spacious enough to for our party of 3. Unfortunately the rain showers kept us out of the motels pool and beach but we look forward to trying them on out next trip to Lanz's (hopefully later this summer!) The motel is a short drive into the town of...

rooms were musty, dirty and in need of serious updating. No "film" on door window so that anyone walking up to door could look directly at me sleeping. Creepy! Carpet was s disturbing. No amenities in room. No wifi no coffee no hair dryer

Biker's weekend is a fun time. Weekend full of activities for those looking for a fun time: bands, pig roast, clam bake, booze cruise to A Bay. Lots of fun to be had. I have attended many years now and stay in the motel. For the price the accommodations are adequate and clean. Staff are very friendly.

The smell is horrible, the mildew, musty odor hits you as your standing OUTSIDE the door. Once you enter the room, I was in #11, the smell is worse. Above the single bed and AC there is visible black on the ceiling tiles.......mold, mildew????. The water in the bathroom sink has NO pressure, it is slightly better than a drip....

The cottages were clean and smelled clean. we loved the rustic charm of the place. the lake was to your left, pool to your right. The docks were good. We had a great time. Planing to come back next summer. We were very happy with the place.

We booked this motel online, against protests from the person I was traveling with. We had only seen the place by its web page and I guess should have known better. Upon arriving we paid for the two nights we had booked. We were handed a key and went to our room, room 4. As soon as we opened the...

Having had parents that have owned an old motel, I appreciate the difficulties involved in doing so. On the one hand, it is hard to complain too much at such a low price, yet the rundown condition was bad enough that you have to wonder at how much the owners care. In our case, the cottage we had had paint...

We've been coming here every summer since 1987. The cottages are old and you need to bring your own linens and some pots and pans, but it's the river that is the draw not the accommodations. The fishing is great with smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, northern pike, perch, and other species to catch. There are many trailer/rv sites available, many...

I have stayed at Lan'z several times. It is my favorite place to stay in the Thousand Islands! The cottages are old but clean. I love the atmosphere. Sometimes you run into small issues with the cottages but they are old so that is to be expected. Anytime I have had anything that needed to be dealt with, the staff...

“Motel rooms are available, but people staying more than a night or two should opt for a cabin. If you have a RV, then this is a good location. Hookups include electric, water, and sewer.”
