This is a very nice house and we found it clean and comfortable. We were a group of nine adults and two children and were all well accommodated. With only two bathrooms, we surprisingly had no issues. We had a nice fire outside almost every night, which was relaxing. I have to say this was the first time renting a house with the hot tub inside. It was great because some of us hung out in the hot tub while watching TV. Honestly, the only thing we didn't like was having to cross Route 8 to get to the lake. It can be busy at times and the cars drive very fast. All in all, this was a nice place for a relaxing vacation. Great location also with plenty to do.

My entire family and I have gone here about fifteen times over the last twenty or so years, and plan to continue going up as often as possible. Truly a wonderful place in so many ways. Exceptionally clean cabins; plenty of parking; tons of amenities; large enough to feel like you're not alone in the wilderness, but not so large that you feel like you're in a resort; short driving distance to many attractions and excellent restaurants; and some of the friendliest and most helpful owners you'll ever meet. Can't recommend this place enough!

Myself, wife, son and his fiancé spent a week in Bass cottage at the lakeside. Accommodations were very good and Walt was very accommodating. Great location with plenty to do. Close to lake George, golf courses, hiking and outlets.

We stayed with a group of 14 in Loon House and Loon's Lair. We have stayed in many places over the years with this group of family and friends. The owner is very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. He immediately responds to any request. The Loon's Lair has a nice King Bed in one room and a set of double beds in another bedroom with a kitchen and living room between. There are 3 Bathrooms in this one !!! This suite is very easy for an elderly person to maneuver in. The Loon House has a bedroom with a full downstairs, which we used for our 92 year old mom. She liked the bed and the proximity to the bathroom downstairs. The upstairs had the rest of the 5 bedrooms and another bathroom. The beds were mostly full size, which was a bit tight for couples, but we know that from the start. One is a queen and one is a single room. There are a lot of up's and down's in the floor with steps in unusual places, but all was kept nicely. The kitchen was missing some items to cook with, but when asked, they were provided by owner or staff. We brought our own folding table for large group games, since the tables were quite small inside. There is a large picnic table on the porch for a group though. Gas Grill, charcoal grill and outdoor firepit were great ! The Hottub in the gathering room was a wonderful added touch and was used a lot. Swimming is across the street with public beach and lifeguards, and the lake was beautiful for boating and tubing for the kids. Recommend this property for a group, and the addition of the other cabins and suites to add more options for larger groups.
