Room was comfortable and clean with many amenities available. Extra precautions taken for guest health/safety was very much appreciated. Eating a delicious breakfast in the peaceful garden was a highlight. Sheryl is so nice and goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We spent several days at the Acorn Inn and it was a lovely stay. The inn keeper Sheryl was very nice and knowledgeable, and provided many recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. Every morning I looked forward to her gourmet breakfasts which were delicious! We stayed in the spacious Barn Suite which is separate from the inn but steps away. It had a nice size bathroom, a comfortable king bed, and a mini kitchen. Sheryl takes care of every detail- providing white robes, toiletries, kitchenware and local brochures. We highly recommend staying at the Acorn Inn!

Thank you for your endorsement of the 1795 Acorn Inn. It means a lot. It's wonderful you enjoyed the Barn Suite. It's quite special being the only room in a building... private, spacious and comfortable. Mom says she would be happy to live in the Barn. Ha. Hope to see you again. Take care. Sheryl

Sheryl takes care of everyone as if they were family. She is so thoughtful and careful to keep her guests safe during this difficult time to travel. Her integrity is obvious in the comfort of the rooms, the peacefulness of the garden setting, the yummy breakfasts, and the recommendations she makes for the activities to keep you happy. We would return in a second. We stayed in the Barn Suite, a very special place.

A secret garden. Great host. Wonderful breakfasts. Updated bedrooms and bath. Charming architecture. Easy drive to many Finger Lake destinations. Attention to detail everywhere evidences a labor of love. Plus a warm morning greeting from the innkeepers elderly mom if you are lucky.

Fred and Mimi, You didn't stay long enough. Would have loved to have you stay longer. Next time. Thank you for your perfect review. It is so rewarding when guests appreciate your efforts. Mom loved talking to you too... from the balcony. You're right... she doesn't do that often. She misses being part of the action. Take care of yourselves and stay well. Sheryl (and Mom)

Our niece and her husband gifted us with a weekend at the 1795 Acorn Inn. With the pandemic, I had to revise our visit twice. Sheryl, owner and innkeeper, was very understanding and reassuring. We have frequently stayed at B&B's, and this one was our very best experience. We were eager to have a getaway after quarantining for almost 4 months, and this trip did not disappoint. The Inn is beautifully furnished, air conditioned, bathrooms large and modern, and attention to detail (even with extra COVID precautions) was impeccable. Gardens and outdoor are magazine worthy. Sheryl is gracious, taking her lead for interacting with guests from her guests. Beautiful Inn, will plan another visit.

Mary Ann, So wonderful to have all of you stay. It is so rewarding when guests appreciate your hard work, made even more challenging by making sure guests Stay Safe during these difficult times. I never thought I would be serving breakfast outdoors but realized the other day that in a way I had made a long-time dream come true. I think I will be continuing to serve outdoors in the gardens (weather permitting, of course) from now on. Thank you for your lovely review. I will look forward to when you visit next. Please take care and stay well. Sheryl
