This Chalet was top notch! Patty and Margaret were the perfect hosts and area guides. I pulled up on a Friday evening and there were hot air balloons greeting me by a beautiful duck pond. I knew immediately it was going to be magical. The room was cozy and warm. Comfort and hospitality was the norm. The gourmet food was incredible. The place spotless and inviting. I forgot all about the pandemic. I highly recommend this Chalet and definitely will be back again!

Property's Favorite Review
My wife and I were in need of an escape from NYC, work, etc. but didn't want to fly anywhere for safety reasons related to COVID. We wanted a secluded and comfortable Inn that went above an beyond circa pandemic precautions and was well positioned as a jumping off point for exploring FLX attractions. The Chalet fit the bill in spades. Masks, social distancing, plenty of hand sanitizer, frequent cleaning of public areas, etc., etc. were all implemented very well. Our hosts, Margaret and Pattie, were ideal hosts, kind and warm ladies, and are extremely knowledgeable about the myriad of wonderful things that there are to experience in the FLX region including food, wine and beer, hikes, shopping, etc., etc. Plus, these ladies can seriously cook gourmet, lip-smacking, delectable breakfasts that could easily compete with- if not blow away- most any breakfast that we've had in Manhattan- or elsewhere frankly. And, the Chalet itself is simply gorgeous, private and tastefully/beautifully decorated. Run, don't walk to a vacation at the Chalet.

At such a strange time to travel, Pattie and Margaret provided a safe environment for relaxation. Everything was spotless, I never saw either of them without a mask, and rooms were left empty between guests to ensure safety. They really think of everything and go the extra distance to make you feel taken care of.

Pattie and Margaret provided a warm, cozy and comfortable experience. The Chalet is secluded and woodsy, and very welcoming. Their recommendations for places to visit were spot-on; they listened to our preferences and we had a most wonderful time. The morning meal was so superb that calling it "breakfast" doesn't do it justice. We will definitely return if possible!!
